    Jeezus christ. Quick really comes off as a major league dick here. Quick "cornered" LaMarcus (his words) and proceeded to badger him relentlessly until he was agitated, and he finally got his money quote. You know LaMarcus just wanted to say "fuck off" and walk away. Talking to the media is a lose-lose for players in Portland.

    I read this as LMA being pissed that the company he leases from said anything about him wanting out of the lease IF he is traded. I can understand that frustration. There is no reason for the leasing company to tell the media anything. It seems like due diligence to me to see if you can get out of penalties when/if you're traded at some point.

    Anyway we were told to not to expect LaMarcus to be traded today, that nothing could get done today as it could be a three team trade. But teams like Lakers and Clippers have talked to Olshey about LaMarcus.

    Also, Olshey may wait for who gets Dwight Howard as both Houston and Dallas would like LaMarcus if either team doesn't get LaMarcus.

    Rice and Antonio think LaMarcus will be gone before the season, because the Blazers don't want to go into fall camp with this drama.

    We were hearing from a couple of people who say they know friends of LaMarcus.

    That LaMarcus thanked and said goodbye to a business owner and said he wasn't coming back.

    Another person said LaMarcus expects to be traded soon and has already packed up his stuff and moved away from Portland."
