Anyone out there had knee injuries before?

I just had a guy fall on my knee at the gym, twisting my leg sideways. I can't put any pressure on it, but I can move it back and forth. Hurts like a bitch though... not going to the ER unless it gets worse... any thoughts about what the problem might be?

EDIT: to be more specific, now the pain's starting to shoot down the rest of my leg... not sure if that's typical of some sort of tear...

Kinda bullshit that the NSFW Random Thoughts Thread is dead these days... let's revive this shit and make it the communicative thread it used to be...

Anyway, I bought a band and crutches today, seeing the doc tomorrow, but pretty sure I tore an ACL/MCL... fuck if I know the difference, I was a business major...

All I know is that after the aforementioned douchebag fell on my leg sideways, I can't put any weight on my right knee/leg...

Thanks man,... apparently it's hard to diagnose an ACL tear... go figure with all these athletes getting diagnosed with that right after they go down haha... Maybe my Memphis docs are just incompetent, but right now I just know I screwed up some ligament, and I've got a brace on and rolling with a crutch...

Anyway, that's not going to keep me from seeing Bob Dylan (for the second time) tomorrow at our minor league baseball park...

Also noticed Robert Plant's coming to town in two weeks... anyone seen him live recently? I checked out his setlist on this tour, and he does a good deal of Zeppelin stuff... it's $80 bucks for general admissions, but I'm thinking that might be worth it...

Would any of ya'll pay $80 to hear Robert Plant do songs like "Going to California," "Black Dog," "Whole Lotta Love," and "Rock and Roll," because those were the staples of his last few setlists... and if he plays those, and maybe one other good Zeppelin song, I think it'd justify the asking price.

I know Bob Dylan was an acquired taste even when he had his "voice," but now that he's playing mostly his new stuff and sounds like a guy who smoked a pack a day for 40+ years, you'd be surprised how Dylan can empty out a baseball stadium half-way through his set...

I loved it... I've seen him before and knew what to expect... but damn, the stadium was packed for My Morning Jacket and Wilco, yet it was nearly empty at only 10:30 or so, half-way through Dylan's set... fans couldn't get to the exit fast enough...

working at the zac brown concert tonight...big production, they do a weird glow in the dark black light encore and whatnot, cool lighting rig

kinda cracks me up though man, at least half the songs are covers, he does ryan adams, ray lamontagne, van morrison, etc...its like hipster country jamband or someshit

his guitarist (google it) co-wrote some of john mayers early songs, and is currently banging the venue owners daughter

What were his covers, because the Zac Brown Band has a lot of original stuff that I've always dug.

I also never really thought about Zac Brown as "hipster." The band's first few albums were good pop-southern rock, but recently he's been honing in on two types of songs - the "Jimmy Buffer-wannabe" tracks and the "ballads for the sake of doing ballads."

Tracks like "Chicken Fried" and "Toes" are stupid, fun pop-southern rock that remind me of college. Tracks like "Highway 20 Ride," "No Hurry," and "Colder Weather" are well-written country rock ballads. Then you get into songs like "Knee Deep" and "Keep Me in Mind" that're trying to keep alive the Buffet-esque sound from "Chicken Friend" and "Toes." They're fun songs, but it just comes off as overly disingenuous.
