Yeah, I want to travel the world but not for a couple of more years. I need to get money in the bank.

When is the best time to travel? I want to make sure I pick the perfect time so I don't miss out on too much school and work, ya know? I don't want it to be a choice I regret, I want to enjoy it. If I left, I would be going for a good half-year or so. Budget traveling, for the win!

one of my friends is doing that, taking 3 months off work and travelling the world...Europe, India, Himalayas, Thailand, etc. Pretty fucking nuts.

I don't know....honestly I think the best time to travel is before one goes to college, take a year off and gain worldly experience. IMO, Summer trip is too short and with school on the horizon...can't. and once you graduate you can't travel since a year off looks bad to employers at times.

Yeah, my schooling is sort of fucked seeing as I left high school in Junior year and graduated in England. Then I got a really nice job that I want to hold down for awhile but it looks like I might lose it since Oracle bought us out.

I'm traveling Europe this summer with a couple of friends, stopping by Holland, France, Italy, Spain, England, etc. I really don't know what I'm gonna do in the future. I want to go to college but I honestly don't know anymore. :shrug:

I personally don't think it matters all that much, depending on what you do. Everyone just goes into college, then they are fucked in the real world because they are essentially robots.

Just don't go TOO late, like delay a year or two would be good.....its not like you CAN'T get in can you?

who knows..... if you get out in the work world at age 22, you're going to be pushing papers for a few years anyways.

Yeah, I didn't head off to college with my friends because of this job, in all honesty. I feel like I have plenty of time to make things up and most of my friends are staying at their colleges for more than four years.

Nah, I can get into college. My grades weren't too flash but I had a 3.2 in high school and passed all of my exams in England. Shit in England is so much easier.

I actually want to go to college in a different country. I have good options in New Zealand, Australia, England, and Ireland but I don't know. I find it so hard to make the decisions/first steps towards doing something long-term.

Yeah, probably better if you went to college out of the country, easier to find a job here. They are just diploma mills here.

You do have plenty of time, when someone goes to college at 18, its kind of a waste because its just one huge 4 year party

Yeah, most of my friends are doing pretty awful. I usually go down once a month so I'm not really missing out of the fun! Plus I'm making that moolah!
