And we all know, when it's a big game, Rudy Fernandez never fails to deliver.

Oh, wait, I mean never fails to disappear. My bad.

I'm fairly certain Rudy will have a big game, but I won't be happy about it. That guy pouted and sandbagged it for a year and half -- Not a professional and not worthy of our cheers.

I"m willing to give a bit of the benefit of the doubt that he isn't sandbagging, but that he's just not the same player post-Ariza. Have you seen him play anywhere since being carted off the floor on a backboard that shows glimpses of the high-flying, no-conscience Rudy?

A couple of Euroleague games and last night he didn't look like the "emo kid" we got acquainted with.

Amen! I have no animosity towards Andre, but Rudy can suck mud.

Fair enough. I didn't watch last night and paid no attention to euroleague this year, so I'll take your word for it.

Miller had 12 assist though in his second game

I will be anxious to see how the Blazers play tonight. I remember in years past that the Blazers were even less of a running team than at home. I wonder if Nate will let the team run on the road?

or Felton fired up to kick the crap out of his former team. I like that headline better.

I thought it was hilarious that Miller got a very warm ovation, with many people standing, when he entered the game for the first time, and a couple minutes later Rudy was soundly booed when he entered the game. It's very rare for Portland fans to boo a former Blazer. Most guys who play here continue to be appreciated for the had work they put in while wearing the Blazer uniform. Of course, most also don't constantly whine about playing time, demand to be traded and threaten to leave and return to their native land rather than stay in Portland.

Andre got what he deserved, and so did Rudy.

This is bullshit. Neither Andre nor Rudy complained about minutes. Andre had the big blowup, not Rudy. When it was obvious Rudy wouldn't succeed as a Blazer, management mysteriously and incompetently didn't trade him while his value was high, and no one could understand it. In a professional way, his agent then asked for a trade. They and I couldn't understand why management didn't do it. Everyone knew that Rudy wouldn't get much time anymore.

I don't know what you guys are seeing, but I've always seen Rudy as the hardest working guy out there. He certainly moves around a lot more than Andre. Rudy's problem is that Pritchard overpromised us and built false expectations. For a late 1st rounder, he was better than most. We got more than we gave.

Bull dada. Rudy's problem was that he showed us what he could do as a rookie. Even I, who was "bearish" on him from the begining, expected him to show modest improvement from there. Instead, he became progressively *less* useful over the rest of his time as a Blazer. He complained when he didn't play big minutes - and played like a dog when he did.

I know you're just trolling, so I won't bother wasting my time digging up all the links of Rudy whining to the press, both in Portland and Spain, about his role on the team, demanding to be traded, threatening to not honor the last two years of his contract, etc. You're a big boy. I'm sure you've heard of google. A couple of quick searches will get you all you need to know about Rudy. I suggest you start with: Rudy Fernandez whining. And follow that with: Rudy Fernandez demand. That should be enough to get you started.

Look at all the ones that came up for the second one. You're famous!

The first one (Rudy Fernandez whining) got a bunch, like this.

    http://www.lockerpulse.com/News/Rudy-Fernandez-whining-away-the-Wednesday-S293064/

All that says is that Rudy wasn't happy here. It doesn't say, but I assume, that what he didn't like is the slowdown style, which does not optimize his speedy abilities, and the expectation that he's a great shooter, when he's only a decent one. But it doesn't say that, and it certainly doesn't say what you guys say is out there, that he demanded more minutes. I remember that writers insinuated that, but never had anything specific to say other than, he wants out.

Rudy stunk on 3 point shooting (1-5). No surprise there. Enough said.
