I think he blocked you dude. Probably got tired of you DMing him that the blazers should trade Dame and pay him a super max.

I'm a Nurk fan and I think it's awesome that people eliminate problems from their day to day lives. I don't miss anything about facebook but facebook informed me I didn't need twitter or instagram either. He'll be better spending that time texting his family and friends or facetiming them.

It's nice that Nurk wants to be better, but he hasn't been the problem lately.

Maybe he's taking a stand against the Muskrat?

I think Dame has more WTF turnovers than Nurk. But it's good he's identified an area that he plans to work on improving. He's already improved his patience and shots around the basket, so that's good. He's also stopped making all those dumbass reach fouls he used to get away from the basket.

Nurk's a great piece for us when his head is right.

Good for him. Social media can be a cess pool, especially if you're slightly insecure and moody.

The worst thing about Nurk is that Billups isn't utilizing him correctly.

This is correct. Nurk is a fantastic defensive C if he’s utilized the right way with the right pieces around him. If Chauncey has a system that he’s married to then Joe needs to move Nurk or fire Chauncey. It’s not fair to the team or Nurk to have the guy constantly defending in space.

It’s also true on the other side of the ball where we should be punishing any team that doesn’t have a big who can defend Nurk. We’re not doing any of that.

So it’s time to deal Nurk, fire Chauncey or convince Chauncey that he needs to use Nurk correctly.

What games are you guys watching? Nurk is consistently beaten to loose balls on both ends, fumbles half of the touches he gets, throws careless passes repeatedly, and is constantly outworked down low unless the ball falls directly on top of him.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's a below average player or anything of the sort. He has some pretty great moments as well. He's just not a good fit with this team.

You still feel this way about social media? Don't understand it. What were you using it for that made it so horrible for you?

    This fucking place.
Am I to believe it's Coach Billups fault whenever Nurk blows an uncontested 2 foot shot....turns the fucking ball over and makes asshat fouls constantly? Stands on the offensive end with his hands in the air bitching to the refs as his man beats him down the court. Thats on the COACH!!!??

connected? put an address on it? Coach needs to hold the starters accountable and that includes Dame...that's what's on coach. That and endgame plans where you don't blow 3 timeouts with 2 minutes left in a close game. Chauncey ..great dude...rookie coach so far. I like him but I don't like his endgames or challenges much at all. Coach can pull Nurk anytime he sees him rnating at a ref and blowing a scheme...same with any player.

Let me give it a shot as to why people will say yes it is Billups fault:
    1. Billups job is to motivate Nurk
    2. Billups lost the respect of Nurk
    3. Billups doesn't hold Nurk accountable
    4. Nurk could be a top 5 center in the league if he were coached properly
    5. Billups doesn't run enough plays for Nurk
    6. Billups doesn't play to Nurk's strengths
I may have stole that from someone rant 3 years ago and just switched a name... Maybe.

It wasn't about how I used it bro...life is a process of elimination and it was an unnecessary distraction from actually picking up the phone and talking with my family or face timing the grandkids..I've explained this but if you limit your contacts I'm sure you'll be fine but it multiplies...my kids all use it but It doesn't bring them closer...in some cases it drives them apart. You do you but I'm not opening that door again. My facebook account got hacked long long ago and it took awhile to sort it out. Fool me once.

I don't put the offensive shortcoming of Nurk as much on Chauncey as I do how he's being used on defense. I realize that Chauncey's philosophy has the 5 showing up high in P&R defense and has everyone switching which means the 5 defends in space, that's just a misutilization of Nurk in my opinion. You're probably right that Chauncey would have Nurk getting the ball a lot more in the offensive post if Nurk were more efficient there.

Been saying this all season. It never ends well so i usually just try not to comment any longer on these issues.
He's a very good player that seems to step on himself all the time. There was another coach once who shall remain nameless that said something about him "Going Rogue" at times. This place did not like that at all.
