You know you’re good when 11 points on 5 shots is a bad game.

He wasn't able to create his usual opportunities. Good efficiency, but not as productive as was needed.

Are we experiencing early symptoms of another Nurk Fever wave? Or is it just playing against Dallas?

I think what we're seeing from Nurk is chemistry, the return of Dame and maturity. I think coach Rogers is great for Nurk. Hopefully thee "team first" attitude spreads throughout thee squad because that's what makes a great core...I'm glad to see Dame kicking to Hart in the corner for 3 and getting him involved in the offense and Nurk is learning to play with Josh, Jerami and Gary now...all is good....it's not just Dallas....it's Dame getting out of his slump as much as anything.

Let’s not get swept away over a few games. Needs to put it together for weeks, if not months at a time. Still has never shown the ability to do that.

It's a collective thing more than an individual one..this is Nurk's first season since Harkless and Aminu that he hasn't been left alone in the paint with no pt of attack defense. It also didn't help that when he was beasting his leg fell off and covid happened when he was ready to return. Shit happens but Nurk is a better player today than he was in the recent past in my view. I wouldn't say I've been swept away by anyone on the team but spotlighting the end of a losing streak and winning a couple does fuel optimism. The Nurk and Dame pick and roll has been underused this season in my view and should make a comeback

Over the past ten games Nurk is averaging:
53% FG, 36% 3FG, 16 points, 11 rebounds, 3.3 assists and over a block and a steal in only 27 mpg. And he has the best +/- per 48 on the team.

Maybe if Olajuwon had a bucket of concrete attached to his leg. And i don't mean that in a detrimental way to Nurk. It's just that Hakeem was so much more mobile.

I remember when Hakeem ran down Rod Strickland and blocked what I thought was a sure layup.

Hakeem would still be my center on an all-time team. He could do everything, and he would have been equally dominant in this era thanks to his tremendous feet and footwork. He'd be a more athletic and versatile Embiid, not to mention far less injury prone and emotionally and mentally volatile.

I remember Shaq talking about how Hakeem was the GOAT center ..he said Hakeem had 40 some moves in the post and I only have 4. That was the first time I ever liked Shaq off the court

So he dunks the ball twice after getting his ass chewed by the coach and now we are calling it "Nurk Fever"?
The best thing I see about Nurk this year is he is still playing. No major injury to this point.

If this Blazer team could swap out Nurk for a prime Dream, they'd be the overwhelming favorites.

Nurkic might get traded for scrubs & future picks. The Blazers GM has to find room on the payroll to sign Jerami Grant's new contract.
