I'm concerned about injury possibilities, but hope it helps him be in shape to start off the season.

He definitely does look a little less defined in that picture that was posted.

I'm annoyed when french players chose to not participate in the world cup / eurobasket, so it really would not be fair of me to blame him

For us Euros it's always great to watch the NBA dudes playing at the European Championship or Worldcup. I remember Dirk vs Pau Gasol in the past or against France vs Tony Parker. Those were great games

At first I was thinking that it would increase his chances for injury next season but then after thinking about it I think him staying in game shape through the Summer is going to be great for him. At the same time, it doesn't excite me one way or the other so I don't really care.

It’ll get his injury out of the way and rehab can start earlier

I agree. He looks a little too big, but it might just be the maturity of his body. His dad is a very large human being. I think playing will be advantageous for his skillset. We can't bubblewrap him forever. Get'er done Beast.

I don’t feel like I can sit and worry about injuries like that. I hope he’s healthy, I hope he stays healthy.

I hope it is great experience for him and he comes into the season and wins most improved player.

It would mean a lot to Nurk to help win for his country.

Nurk is the star for Bosnia and Herzegovina; it’s like KD playing for USA.

I’d love to see him go beast mode and have opponents worried about guarding him next season.

Rather Nurk played for his country than get hurt in some random pickup game in LA which these guys all play in to get in game shape anyway. I respect players for representing their countries in basketball
