Nurk got his money so he don’t care if he gets hurt.

Am I the only one who noticed that summer league Champion Luka Garza is on his team?

Representing your country is the highest honour any sportsperson can have. Not only am I OK with Nurk representing his country, I’m proud of him for doing so.

I thought fat nurk was better anyway than lean nurk, who tries too many cute tricks.

Isn't it so easy for americans to be angry at a guy for wanting to represent his country.

It's not "Americans", it's small market fans who've been hurt over and over again. I voted "yes", but I completely understand the "no" voters.

He was already the heaviest guy on the court usually by a lot, but who needs added agility and less stress on their joints? Dude needs to put down the knife and fork and focus on dropping 30... he'd be much more of a beast at 260

maybe he just prefers (possibly chauncey billups too) to be heavier as it benefits his game if were gonna use him down low (bully ball) as we did last season

remember that "slim nurk" couldnt move players down low as he used to, although slim nurk had a career season, but like i said, we used him in a different way last season

Nurk will be lighter once training camp starts. His vacation is almost over.

I went back and looked at that picture again. He doesn't look overweight to me. I think with so many of these extremely thin centers like Chetster & Wembanyama , we tend to think Nurk is too big. But he's matured. If anything, those red wood legs give him a super solid base. If the refs allow Nurk to utilize his size, the way they allowed Shaq to utilize his, it could be a real plus. Especially against these slim jims.

I hope Nurk is able to play against Wembanyama in the Euro tourney this summer. I'd like to see how they match up. I have a feeling that Vic will make Nurk look silly. Nurk might be able to bully him down low offensively, but I think Wembanyama's length and Nurk's general passiveness at the rim will prevent him from taking much advantage of his strength/bulk.

    Nurk looks heavier there.

I mean, great play, but I saw it from another site where nobody was talking about his size, and his size was the first thing I noticed.
