Hey, happy that Nurk and his team had a good run. Their country is still going through a lot. Hopefully this brought them some proud moments. I'm also happy Nurk got to work on his skillset in a competitive situation. Practice is vital, but games are essential to real improvement. Here's hoping Nurk has a monster season.

Nurk is probably a little better defensively, in the paint at least, and a little better passer

Val is better offensively and much more efficient; he's also been a little better rebounder

both players have injury histories, but Nurk's is much more extensive. Nurk's had 2 season when he played 70 games or more; Val has had 6 seasons. In the last 3 seasons, Val has missed 21 games; Nurk has missed 127

I brought this up last year and got killed when I said Val is much better.

I certainly would trade Nurk for him. Can't talk Nurk down though too much. He is a Blazer and he wants to be here. At least for the time being. As soon as he gets spanked by Billups that could change. Yes he will do something stupid and Chauncey will have to put him in line.

looks like Bosnia-Herzegowina isn't moving forward into the knockouts. Kinda glad tbh, need Nurkic healthy and rested

maybe joe cronin & chauncey billups took notice of dzanan musa while there were there (his return to the nba is just a matter of time, my guess is he wont stay in real madrid longer than one or two seasons)

nurk had solid eurobasket, he couldve & shouldve play better, hes our best player (although dzanan musa was our best player this eurobasket), so he plays the way he wants (too many threes, some fadeway shots from one leg etc) hed never be allowed to play like that with trail blazers, but he obviously can in our national team, so its frustrating to watch, hes a center, but likes to spend a lot of time on perimeter

Nurk and Val are close to being equal in play and salary. It would be a horizontal trade, slight if any upgrade. The clearly better centers cost more.

It would be an upgrade IMO. Substantial.

    Sengun has played well

Don’t think Sabonis deserves to be ranked ahead of Nurk.

Yes, but the franchise gave it to him willingly, so they chose to be robbed.
