I read the comments and some guy wrote Blazers should offer him 4/50 and if he walks, he walks...

Personally, I'd like to see if he can stay healthy this year before we worry about any of this.

I know we all love him, but if he's only healthy for 30 games, then that will effect his price significantly.

I think this article is a bit silly, because didn't we all know Nurk would probably get the max? If he plays really well next year, Portland will give him the max, even if it means paying luxury tax. If we ditch Aminu and stretch Nicholson, our cap would be at 105. So Maxing Nurk would put us what...7 mil over the luxury tax? We could dump Harkless as well and get under.

We'd much sooner dump Hark and Aminu than lose Nurkic.

We should give him a Nurk contract, which is greater than max.

That would require shaking his hand after he spits on it......I understand Nurk fever is manageable but cannot be cured.

I can't believe we not only got a first round draft pick for Plum-Dog, but a MAX player as well!

I'm sad about how much lack of knowledge of the CBA you're betraying here.

Yeah, it was quite the financial disaster of a trade.

Currently, one Bosnian Convertible Mark, which is a crazy name for a currency, is worth 61 cents of American money.

Simply offer him a Bosnian max contract. It's culturally sensitive and financially sound.

You think a message board poster sending you $200 for nothing is a good analogy? It would be like if you had a business and had to pay $200 to keep a key employee.

He's got to earn it, but I bet the Blazers then pay him.

It's a great analogy. He said PA wouldn't miss the money. It would be no problem.

At some point, the money matters

I assume by "not a sure thing" they mean as in "the sun may not rise in the east tomorrow".
