I actually hope this leads to the roster shuffle I've been begging for forever. No better time to sell high on someone I won't name, in our starting back court, who isn't the Blazers GOAT.
2 months.....no problem...Nurk will be back..this is good news...if it were worse it could take 6 months...this means it's not that messed up
It's pretty concerning that he needed surgery on something that was pretty much a nothing play. He's starting to seem pretty injury prone. The broken leg was a freak accident sure, but he missed the playoffs in his first season here due to an extended injury as well. He's had major injuries in Denver as well. Not sure how much they can hope to depend on him in the future.
He wasn’t going to do much anyways. Get better but it’s time to find a center of the future this dude never plays
"At least." Thats about 25-30 games and puts us into the second half of the season. If the league pauses as has been hinted, this would obviously reduce the number of games missed
We dont really know what he broke or tore yet. But Karl Towns avoided surgery last March snd is still dealing with it it now. Dude was playing with one hand last game I watched him. Could just be a case of Nurk deciding to take care of it once and for all rather than have it be a recurring issue.
I don't trust like 6 guys on this roster. This team needs stabilization. If Indy is still out to trade Turner, he might be a guy who can make up for our poor perimeter defense.
