Where’s CJ? (For the record, #139)

Should be noted that I only saw that tweet because Nurk retweeted it.

We've looked at the probables though.

    Starters: Curry/Harden/Lebron/Durant/Davis
    Reserves: Dame/Westbrook/George/Towns/Jokic
    Wildcards: Derozan/Harris

Ahead of whom would you place Nurkic?

You have got to have a Nurkie jersey direct from China. IMG_2042 (1).JPG to show you can still stud when your over 50.

I think towns is one of those guys who is really good but not really a "#1". I sure wouldn't mind seeing him as our starting PF next to Nurk!

good chance that won't happen as long as Stotts is coach and we have CJ. we have two ball dominant guards and Stotts does favor shooters

Are there any good teams who don't favor shooters?

Like when he marginally touched LeBron who "sold" the contact, and Nurk have the crybaby face to The Kang!

    I LOVED THAT!

Why so we can watch b.s.get used by all the stretch bigs and abused defending the pick and pop.

    KAT has NO D.

Under used? You have not been paying attention lately. He touches the ball all the time now. The games which he gets a lot of assists and shoots less are some of his best games. It all depends on the matchups. Some games he needs to shoot more.....and he does. But his assists are way up. Spreading the floor with good shooting guards (plus Jake) gives Nurk more room to work. If they went to him like they did with LaMarcus the opponents would just double him. And IMO that would not help Nurk at all make the all star team.

Currently this year his dbpm is 2.4, That would have him tied for 2nd on the Blazers current roster. I know defense is hard to quantify but I think its an exaggeration to say he has no D. He’s averagin 1.9 blocks per game and almost a steal per game. Is he an elite defender? No probably not but he is a good defender capable of giving you 20-10 fairy regularly.

Media/players won't vote him high enough for the fan vote to matter.

    FUN FACT

Jusuf Nurkic ranks 12th in the NBA with a BPM of 5.6.

That's ahead of guys like Kevin Durant, Damian Lillard, Paul George, Karl-Anthony Towns, Ben Simmons, Blake Griffin, and others.

Just how good is Jusuf Nurkic?!
