    That's just making excuses. I could list off dozens of assistants who have never been head coach but are far better. And even if they aren't, it's no excuse not spend Dame's prime rebuilding/changing the team's identity.

    So, apparently Nurk is now dealing with a calf issue? From the Quickster:

    “Coach Terry Stotts says Jusuf Nurkic was limited in practice Friday because he is dealing with a calf injury. Meanwhile, CJ McCollum was able to do some 1-on-1 work on the court today in Minnesota. Both are ruled out for Saturday's game against the Timberwolves.”

    Sounds like he is still a week or two away. I was hoping he would be back sooner, but would rather he be healthy when he comes back and not rush back and get hurt again.
