Since moving to Detroit he's averaging close to a double double in only 20 minutes per game.

    His per 36 are fantastic.
    upload_2023-3-3_15-42-49.png

His per 100 possessions are also impressive.

But hey..... we have so much size on this team, I can't really imagine a spot for him in our rotation. We have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to the center position, right?

We should have taken the same flier on Wiseman that we did on Reddish. The only reason not to is if the Blazers believe those picks will help us get a better player in trade this summer.

    The tears are so sweet.

For the first time since the trade, Warriors owner Joe Lacob spoke about Wiseman, and he admitted that trading the young center could look bad in the future. “We might very well regret that one, longer term or even intermediate term,”

Somehow when we take a flyer on Reddish, it's mocked as dumpster diving by many in here, trying out a former lotto pick. But many of the same want us to dumpster dive for Wiseman.
Glad he's put up good looking #s in Detroit. Remember when people were crying in here when Moses Brown looked good in OKC, and how we made a mistake letting him go? Where's he at exactly?

....maybe perhaps because this team DESPERATELY needs size.

We don't want the Knicks to climb too high in the standings! A 6-7 seed in the East is good with me!

6th seed would be perfect imo. No play-in stress like last year with that Pelicans Pick again please.

I could've sworn I heard assists were an uber important part of having a good offense. Weird.

I hate how good the Knicks are now. I wanted that pick to be 15-20, seems like there’s no chance now.

Is the Knicks roster really any more talented than Portland's? They just play defense...and play together much better.

Getting stops is crucial in the NBA. They do. We don’t.

Knicks have won 8 in row, they will lose eventually and teams like phoenix, GS with Steph, and maybe even Brooklyn will pass them up in record. Think that pick ends up being 19/20 overall.

What do the Knicks need to do for us to get the best 1FP from them? 8th in the east?

Whatever it took for them to finish with the #8 seed in the East. Either finishing 7/8 in the regular season and then winning 1 of the 2 possible play-in games, or finishing 9/10 and winning both games.

Though the New Orleans pick sucked last year (they’re due for getting swept in the playoffs for years as recompense), the pick was still traded away. The value remained more or less intact. 15 for the Knicks pick is cutting it close, so 20 is fine by me. As long as it’s a 1st and the Chicago debt is paid this summer, that’s all that matters in improving the roster to compete right away. The 4 2nd rounders would still have value, but #TradeThePicks is the most feasible path to a Dame-led run. Keep winning NY.

Paying the bulls debt only make sense if we have a trade in place. We shouldn’t do it just for the sake of it

This. Getting stops and then getting good shots at the other end are two of the several things Portland doesn’t do well at all.

The Knicks will clinch a playoff birth today after their victory over the Wizards. Blazers clinch getting the Knicks’ first-round draft pick.
