You earlier said you didn't care if he scored but just wanted him to play defense and get rebounds now it is he only scored 4 points. It is pretty simple it looks like Oden is depressed in the way Nate uses him. Just 3 or 4 games back Oden had 5-6 good games in a row. He was active on both ends of the floor. The reason IMO is they were going to him a little more on offense and he was getting more PT. I think the problem in the last 3 games has been Nate and maybe his team mates haven't gotten him the ball after working hard and he hasn't gotten the PT he should have. Lots of players have a bad half or part of a game but they still play him example Roy, LMA have had bad first half's and they still get PT in the second half. If Oden has a bad first half Nate will start Oden in the second half and take him out after 5-6 minutes and he hasn't even been put back in the game. When Oden had those 5 or 6 good games in a row I think you probably were still upset with his play but didn't post as much. I doubt there is anything anybody can say to get the Oden haters to realize if you want him to do good you will have to be patient and the team/Nate needs to start using him different. I still don't care what anybody says we need to keep starting Oden or just trade him now and get what we can because I think that would lose what little confidence he has. The loses in the last 2 games are not Oden's fault and I wish people would stop saying it was. I'm sure you don't give a shit but this is the last time I'm reading or responding to one of your Oden shit topics.
That's low, man. King has acknowledged in the past that is does suffer from a bi-polar disorder so that crack was uncalled for - but I'll give you the benefit of not knowing since you're relatively new. As for this thread, I don't have ANY problem laying into what I perceive to be troll threads but with Eric, it's different and I understand. He's just very enthusiastic about his support of the team - so when the going is good, he's the team's biggest support. When things get a little rough, he is going to moan some. That's his personality - I get it. So it's not like ALL he does is just throw out all negative nonsense all the time. Many of his posts are very positive so, in the end, he does balance himself out. I can't say that for some others on here.
I think, all in all, we've had way too much discussion of individual posters in here lately. Let's try to focus on basketball, not each other. If you find a poster to be consistently annoying, ignore him/her. You don't have to click on threads you know will make you mad. You don't have to respond to posters you dislike. If you want to use the ignore feature, it is in UserCP, Edit Ignore List. barfo
Your probably talking about me and your are right. The one thing is I don't want to put some people on ignore for a couple of reasons. Most of the time I like reading their posts it is just when their topics are the same then over and over and have nothing to add to the already discussed topic many times. The other thing is I put a couple people on ignore but would end up seeing almost all their posts anyway with people quiting them when I would read other people's post. So, ignoring really didn't work for me. I do agree about not reading some of their topics and I did say that in my last post. I will try and not read the topics that I think will get me upset from some posters from now on.
If Eric took it that way, I'm sorry. I do know he suffers from that, but he'd also said he feels good now, so I guess he has no excuse for this thread. Like you, I probably shouldn't read these, but then there's not much else to read around here after losses.
Predictable thread. When Zach was overjoyed with Greg a week ago, a bunch of us said after 2-3 bad games get ready for more "Oden is a bust" threads from him.
I am wondering why the normal up and downs that I see and post about warrants thread after thread about Nate being fired.
