I saw Mo Clare ran like a 4.7, 4.8 in the combine. Great move leaving OSU early. I heard there were 4 O-lineman that ran the 40 faster than him.
Thats not true....I watched the O-line run and the fastest one ran a 4.97....I did see a 5-11 251 RB from the Citidel run an unofficial 4.51, which is blazing for a man that size....the real guy that should make him jelous is Ronnie Brown and JJ Artington, turning in official 4.46 and 4.48(Brown ran a 4.31 on one of his runs)....
most of the FBs ran a better time....Claretts time was so closw I doubt he could even get to the hole before it closed....
I dont....unless he runs a mich better time in his campus workout....its one thing to be a talented back and carry off the field baggage, its another to be slow, they will overlook a certain ammount of baggage, but slowness will get you an undrafted free agent contract with abotu $10,000 signing bonus....I did read today that Preist Holmes ran the exact same time at the combine, and he went undrafted....
