I agree BP but it needs to be their battle in which we aid them. Our leader needs to understand that we support and theirs needs to understand it's their fight. I am pretty sure we don't have that in Kabul and I don't know what the hell we have in Washington.
What Nation chairs the Security Council right now? Ah, April, Nigeria! I guess that speaks to that issue. I wonder if they will rescue their girls? Oh, it's May, Korea, then Russia. Geez, how does this work?
It plays a roll for sure, but the troop levels being brought down so quickly was unexpected and not predicted by the karzai's actions. Also, and I'm not sure about this, but didn't they just get assurances that everything would actually be signed to allow the US to remain for an additional 12 years if the US wished to stay, negating what Karzai had previously threatened? EDIT: I could be totally wrong, I'm looking for an article and cant find what I want.
Everyone realizes Obama plans to decrease troop levels to 9800, right? That's about the number that were there most of the years since 9/11 before Obama took office.
