    Maybe you better take a chill pill, and read a history book. A real book, at a library. The original development and rewrites of, and the purpose behind The Second Amendment are massively documented in print and have been since way before my time.

    There's some silly revisionist propaganda on the internet from the Brady Bunch, but it doesn't hold up.

    The goal of stopping imports is to cause inflation to the point that only the rich can afford to buy the guns that are here, and the ones that will now be smuggled due to the increased demand. Since only the black market guns will be affordable, Real Americans will be forced to commit a felony to get one.

    So for most Real Americans the gun has now in fact been outlawed.

    Obviously you feel a frightening need to weaken other people's defenses.

    I am of the opinion that strong neighbors make strong communities. I'm pleased as punch to live where roughly 95% of the populace is armed. Things are real peaceful here in Beautiful Central Oregon. :cheers:

    Question, does it have to be a Russian AK-47 or will a Romanian, Hungarian or Bulgarian AK-47 that is still legal to import make me just as much of a Real American?

    I prefer AK 74's myself. :dunno:
    As soon as Barry can back down and start kissing Putin's butt again the sanctions will be lifted. Until then, scalpers gonna scalp. In the meantime Polish,Bulgarian, Hungarian AK's are pretty nice.

    Screw the AK, get a mini 14. The 30 round magazines are much lighter loaded up, only 55 grain bullets instead of 150grains. Makes a big difference in the weight of a magazine. Full auto is bull shit anyway unless you have a mule to carry the ammo.

    The Ruger is American made but according to Maris owning one doesn't make you a Real American. I want to be a Real American, I want Russian only.

    If you had read my post, rather than becoming Mr. Sarcastic, you'd see that Obama has found a loophole. Right now, it's just Russian AKs, sure, but all Obama has to do is start sanctions against Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria, and that's the end of AK-47s. Beyond that, he can impose sanctions against every other nation that manufactures guns, including America, and suddenly Rugers become contraband too.

    Please try thinking two steps ahead. Obama is, in his war on guns.
