Obama Outlaws Russian-made AK-47 rifles with stroke of his unconstitutional pen

Well that's all nice and fine if you think people have a constitutional right to possess weapons capable of killing hundreds with the single squeeze of a trigger. I don't think my redneck neighbor bob needs a tank to go along with that SPAS12.

 

In a related story, the New Jersey Nets have been informed by the NBA that Russian born Andrei Gennadyevich Kirilenko, aka AK-47, will not be allowed anywhere on the Net's facility.

The Nets believe this is a conspiracy by the NBA to keep franchises from owning any players and will file a lawsuit in federal court claiming their constitutional NBA rights have been violated.

 

He probably can't afford one anyway. But I don't think Obama needs 7,000 nuclear warheads, killer-robots and drones.

When a guy who has 7,000 nuclear warheads, killer-robots and drones tells me he doesn't think I should be allowed to have a small caliber rifle, bells start to go off.

But in order to prevent someone like Bush or Obama from instituting marshall law or a military coup, The Second Amendment guarantees Bob's right to arm himself to whatever extent he wishes. Without infringement.

Funny that Obama says it's fine and dandy if we buy all the Russian gold and Russian silver we want to. Mail-order brides, matryoshka dolls, Caviar, nearly anything we want from Russia, except guns.

 

People have been proclaiming Obama is taking their guns since before he was inaugurated. And a lot of people have stockpiled guns ever since (the increase in gun purchase is not largely due to more gun owners but more guns per owner) and no one has taken them away.

Some people have made the suggestion that dangerously disoriented people not have access to guns, but apparently freedom.

Nowhere did I say Real Americans must own AK47's. I know you're having fun mass-posting in high-troll form but nowhere did I say that.

I said it is their right to own any weapon they wish, without infringement (arresting people for buying one would be an infringement). Obama is taking the illegal back-door routes (Bans, blockades, sanctions, IRS audits, ATF stings...) of trying to crush individual arms manufacturers the same way he has been crippling tobacco companies (but not alcohol companies) and companies that support conservative candidates (Gibson Guitar for instance).

He's a dictator, just like Bush/Cheney. And they are why The Second Amendment was written.

If The Second Amendment had not been enacted, we'd not be having this discussion because only the military would have guns and they'd be pointed at us.

If Obama stopped all trade with Russia, then he might actually affect Russia's political stance.

Actually I don't have links, but I was just in a gun shop and they sold out of their AK-47s. I know them personally, so I asked if they sold them for a premium. He said they sold out 4 days ago with a 20% premium.

 

Oh is that what we are talking about? Well if it stays banned long enough, don't be surprised if it does. When excedrin had the aspirin recall, bottles were selling for $200.

My sister has a colt python that her father gave her. She had that gun appraised and it was $4,000. When the python was out, they were $1,200 guns. The premium is because they don't make them and finding them is rare.
