I have 4wd, new snow tires with chains, and a lot of experience driving on ice. But I am not going anywhere unless it is an emergency. It is the other people on the road with bald tires and no experience driving in these conditions that I am afraid of, not the ice.

Tomorrow morning and afternoon will likely be an ice rink, some thawing is possible by evening but the damage will probably be done. I doubt they play.

Winterhawks game is already postponed for tomorrow, so the odds are not looking good for a Blazers game.

I just told the Blazers there is very little ice at my house and I could have the driveway shoveled if they want to hold the game here.

Too late, I've already offered my house as the place to hold the game.

Might as well let her stay since the Blazers are cancelling the game.

I woke up yesterday to a slight drizzle of freezing rain but it turned to snow and I ended up with four inches of powder at my place. It's nice.

How ironic if it turns out to be more hazardous tonight than last night.

They can't move the game to tomorrow because Blazers play Tuesday & Wednesday. Can't have 3 games in a row. Pistons next games are Tuesday & Thursday. Closest to PDX the Pistons are again is April 7th vs Houston. But the Blazers play on the 6th & 8th. Maybe they'd reschedule it during the All Star break. I'm hoping they play tonight. NFL playoffs all day then Blazer game. Perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday.

Yep. East coast games in the morning, west coast games in the afternoon. The only problem is not being able to watch live games when I'm at work.

The Australian National Basketball League runs over summer, so no basketball during the southern hemisphere winter. You'd have to watch Australian Rules Football, or Rugby League or Union.
