I agree. That is why I called him a project. Then everyone got mad at me. He IS a project. That's what he is. A project that could pay off? Sure.
You know that's BS. We improved because Roy and LMA improved, everyone grew up, Rudy and Batum joined the team. Oden helped a little, but we probably would've won 50 without him. We had a great record without him this season. Something like 15-7?
A freshman could only lead his team to 2nd in the country against 3 NBA lottery picks. Man, what a loser.
Oden assisted greatly in those added wins simply because it meant that Joel didn't have to play more minutes than necessary again big guys and he was able to last an entire season. It also meant a whole lot less of Channing Frye which I think we can all agree on (except for a certain poster that thought Frye playing more tonight would have helped us????) was a major plus. He also worked the boards and helped cover for horrible perimeter defense.
Has anybody been paying attention to the Bulls/Celts? Look at Rose - THAT is what the #1 pick in the draft is supposed to play like!
and? he dominated noah and horford in that game, all while being a freshman....highschool to now he has always won. he doesnt really know what its like to not win. i guarantee he is devasted
+1 Oden is on the tier of centers with the likes of DeAndre Jordan and Ryan Hollins. It's embarrassing.
Rose would have fared better just because he doesn't weigh 280 pounds to put on his knee, and he doesn't have to guard guys like Yao Ming. He wouldn't have done as well has he did this year because of how often he drives and gets to the rim, but he would have done better than Greg just because of the body types and positions.
I can't wait for you to be dead wrong. And you will be. I promise. Just make sure to stick around and take your punishment, ok?
