You could get a ring with the Heat. I could get a ring with the Heat. The key will be whether he's a major contributing factor to the Heat getting a ring.

I still think, if he were healthy, he'd be a bigger factor in the league than Durant.

If he gets a ring, it might -- MIGHT -- be by beating us.

    :sigh:

    David Stern's final script.

He has looked good so far if he stays healthy and can play 20 minutes a night chalk up another title to Miami.

If he had stayed healthy, then yes, I think he would have been better than Durant. The guy was extremely formidable when he was healthy. The problem was that he was rarely healthy.

I don't know what the specific issue with each of their knees are, but just in terms of future impact and attitude (and not being covered in L*ker stench) I go with Greg.

It was of my time but I never liked it. Much preferred Ranma 1/2.

To be more specific, Oden's basically got about the same issues that Amar'e came back from (microfracture on both, but without cartilage/meniscus/ligament issues, afaik). There was a rumor that he had some kind of bone necrosis or something, but I haven't heard any more about that. Bynum's are much more like Roy's.

Tomorrow morning will really tell the story. Brandon Roy could still play one night a year, if necessary.

Regardless, good for Greggers. He doesn't have near the lift he used to, but he's still strong and coordinated near the rim.

Can we wait until after he's played at least four or five games in a row before we start moping?

Who's moping? I think most of the folks are saying some variation of "good for him"

Looking pretty spry---just did a double-jump to affect back-to-back shots. Maybe Nate's right and his knees look like water balloon in the morning, but he's not "lumbering" and holding his own banging on the block with Gortat
