Good for GO. I'm happy for him. I just wish he could have stayed healthy as a Blazer. Damn, he is a difference maker.
I think he's a punk ass who quit on us and became a drunk while making STUPID decisions and failing on his rehab. I feel like he owes us big and as EVIL as it is to say, I hope HOT LAVA flows out of both of his knees. I hope both of his knees erupt like Mount St. Helens, and I want it to happen IN PORTLAND. #fanisshortforfanatic Edit: that's a damn evil thing to say... Only half of me wants that LOL.
I wish him well. Sad that a marquee player has devolved into a garbage time player. Some, not all, is his fault. But in a world full of tragedy, this is low on the sadness meter.
this ain't bill Walton winning 6th man of the year for the Celtics, yet. still feel dissed and burned by oden and the basketball gods. wessey-wes does well with a chip on his shoulder though. perhaps he'll be able to channel this in the finals vs. the heat for us.
Good for Greg. I sort of doubt he'll hold up, but I think Miami was a good situation for him where he can just be a small piece and try to resurrect what has been a shitty, shitty career.
These expectations are really high now! He did well. If he plays 2 games in a row, he may not be able to live up to it after that! Eh, I kid. Good for him. Unfortunately, it's in Miami. Now we'll hear about it constantly.
Always been a fan of Oden and really hope he does well. Never against the Blazers of course, but I would definatly have some gloating to do if he stays healthy. Now of Leonard can just make an increadible breakout and DOMINATE the league, we would be set!
I just don't get the notion that Oden was an innocent bystander to his own life and problems. Everyone knows Greg was a party animal. Did you know this? http://espn.go.com/college-football...s-dismisses-anthony-oden-following-dwi-arrest Alcholism runs in families. If Anthony threw away his career for booze, why is it so hard for people to accept that Greg may have done the same?
A young twenty-something, with millions of dollars likes to party? The nerve. In any case, it doesn't really account for his knees disintegrating into a pile of splintered cartilage and bone.
You obviously never heard that he liked to hook semi's to a harness when he was drunk and pull them around town.
