LOL Shape you do realize that we might have to do another thread like this for the Portland game lol...hahaha...I'll see you in the forums slick! Next Friday I'm going to watch my old school play a league game...they play crosstown rivals and we are the #2 team while they are the #1 team..should be a good game.. and thanks..I'll do my best on those finals....and same with SATs take care good buddy
Shape- The Lakers will be 3 games over .500 if they win at portland, they are 18-16 now after this win. Anyways- Secret and shape- wayto tell that Kobe hatin lickasack or whatever his name was to get out of here. Anyways- Kobe's breaking records and his team is winning at the same time...I love when the critics can't say anything. During this scoring streak his rebounds AND assists have also gone, up while also limiting turnovers besides that one 7 to game. He's playing some of the best ball of his career and forcing the L to take notice. Lakers Lakers Lakers...
lol i won't mind a chat channel...with finals and SATs AND azn parents..I'm not going out anywhere anytime soon til this month is over....so basically....its not like I have anything better to do while my parents make me stay home...lol...
whooo hoo! man, I wish I could have watched the game! I worked today. 3 in a row! I feel a streak coming on..
I wasn't going to be satisfied if Kobe didn't get that four-five, and I'm glad he did, now I'm happy that we got the W and his 45 points. I'd really like Kobe to start practicing on his free throws again, he's looking like LeBron James on the charity stripe, and it's killing me. I really wouldn't say it's fatigue, to see him doing those unbelievable plays then miss a free throw doesn't make sense if you ask me. Great game, I hope trench is right, I'd like to see another long winning streak.

Oh well, the W is all that matters in the end.
I'm sure he's reading a shooting fundamentals book as we speak lol. Kobe is arrogant but he's the first to critisize himself when part of his game needs tweaking. I'm loving watching Kobe light it up, but I hope he doesn't start shooting 12-36 trying to reach huge numbers. Against portland however, he always seems to do well, and they are going to have Ruben Patterson, Sergie Monia, and Martell Webster on him. He'll probably hit 30-40 if he doesn't explode, if he jacks up 30+ I wouldn't be surprised to see him hit between 50-60 pts. The W is all that matters though.

Lakers Lakers Lakers...</div> Yeah my bad, 3 games over .500, and we are also .5 game ahead of the Warriors now and just .5 game back of the Clippers. I'm pulling for a 10 game win streak and working our way up the playoff seeding.
I can definitely see a 10 game streak (hopefully we can do what the Nets have been doing). Kobe has just been giving everyone so much confidence lately, from Smush to Kwame, making those assists to Bynum tonight, he's doing it all across the board. This team is only going to get better. Cleveland is 20-11, mainly because of LeBron, so there is no reason why the Lakers shouldn't be right up there. People might hate on the Lakers, but we are no sorry team, after all, we DO have arguably the best player in the league. (I was just being nice, there is no doubt in my mind he is the best.) That was a tough 5 game losing streak we had to go through, around that time (Christmas) I still feel we should have been on an 9 game winning streak or so. With Kobe playing with such confidence, and the team really stepping up, good things are in store for the Lakers. EDIT---- Laker/Kobe fans, go to http://www.nba.com/nike/ and vote for Kobe for baller of the week!
Did anyone notice that Kobe wasn't wearing his tights this game? I hadn't paid attention so I don't know if he had been wearing it in recent games, just wondering if anyone noticed that..

It's cool it's going on and it's a blessing like I said, but to win the game, that's why I score the ball." Lakers coach Phil Jackson: "I'm just hoping he can maintain it without doing anything detrimental to himself, physically." Indiana coach Rick Carlisle: "Kobe Bryant is a great player, maybe the best player in the league right now. He's that good." Indiana forward Jermaine O'Neal: "He (Bryant) shot 21 free throws. It's a hard thing to defend a great offensive player. It's even harder when you get called for fouls that aren't really fouls."</div> Source
