I was being facetious. I have never demanded posters stop discussion. I understand the purpose of this thread and posters are welcome to comment away. It's not like the thread is actually closed.
We are also human beings. We aren't perfect and we are allowed to share our opinions and use humor and sarcasm. I get how @WesleyMatthews was upset though. He started a thread and thought I was trying to intervene or censor. Anyone that knows me here though, knows I wouldn't do that.
I don't get why anyone thinks that Milwaukee would trade Giannis, considering they won a title with him, were the #1 seed and lost mostly because Giannis got hurt, and it's not like he's old or they haven't tried to appease him.
Especially since the picks are all unprotected. Can you imagine if we made that trade and lost in the first round like the Bucks did....to a play-in team? I realize Wes was just throwing it out there for discussion purposes.....and it is not horrible if there were fewer picks. Short-term risks are fine but long term risks can be disastrous.
Not a single person expects you to be perfect ... I mean just look at Sly, he screws up all the time!!!
I'm not upset. I just think it was a stupid comment and calling it out as such. I was being facetious, or maybe I wasn't, probably nobody can tell for certain from a text post online. I never understood why any poster goes into a thread to say why its stupid or not worth discussion. Why not go to the other thousands of threads sitting here. I think the threads about shoes or Damian rapping or other sports are stupid but I let people who want to discuss them do their discussions and move on to something I'm interested in. Yes I picked on your title of a mod, but if you didn't have it I'd pick on something else with you in a condescending know it all manner.
So your saying the Blazers are giving up too much? Its funny some say its ridiculous because the Bucks would never consider such an offer. Others seemingly are saying its too much for Portland to give up.
