This game was fun, im happy to see fun basketball. Fans were hungry today but only got 99, i rather have a win anyways.
Wow great game for the Rockets, Juwan Howard really impressed me 14 pts and 12 rebounds, and he had to outrebound Boozer! Sura obviously did great, Mcgrady shot terribly but was agressive enough to get to the free throw line enough! heres how the rest of the team did...

I don't want to start a new thread, or make a preview 2 days early, so I'll just say it here: I'm very worried about the Rockets chances against the Suns. I don't THINK they will win, but I sure HOPE they will. This is one of the few games that I don't have a ticket to already that I'm going to pick up a ticket for anyway. Should be fun to watch, regardless of the outcome. Prediction: Phoenix 103, Houston 95

We already have a schedule that previews go by. This game was originally supposed to be done by Magnomonkey, but since Adrenaline had done it, we let it go this time. I'd strongly advise you not make any more previews in the future, as it would only mess up the official team's schedule and decrease the sense of consistency in this forum. If there is an opening in the Preview Team, I will contact one of you and invite you to join the team.

The Suns are blazing hot and they look really really good this year. I had my doubts on them when they took Q. I remember I was drooling in the summer just thinking of a lineup consisting Nash, Q, J.Johnson, Marion and Amare. Now that's a real fun athletic, high energy team to watch. Not just run and gun a la Dallas or pretty cuts a la Kings, but this team have both shooters and cutters that can finish with POWER (as opposed to a finesse game played by Dallas and Kings). My concern was that they won't have a real Center to contain the other teams' bigs but boy these teams' high level of energy and athleticism just dominate games. With all that being said, not that I'm becoming a traitor or anything, I can hardly imagine us winning this game. The Suns are so good right now (Amare had 50 points last night...) that I think if we lose within single digit, that's an accomplishment in itself

DEFENSE. Its the only way houston can win. If we can hold Phoenix under 100 we have a good chance of winning. Because they're a bad defensive team. They give up 98 ppg and unless houston goes cold we can easily get 100+ pts. Now Amare is just crazy, he will dunk on players and get his numbers. But aslong as hes the only one dominating we should be ok. Houston 104-Phoenix 98
Last year, Amare did a good defensive job on Yao, and I would imagine the same this game. Yao would have to work hard on offense and rebound. Amare depends on his athleticsm to rebound, so Yao would have to be smart and box out. No one on the Suns can guard McGrady, so expect him to go for big points.
Um... why's everyone putting their thoughts on the Suns game in here again? I don't know, I'm just confused on whether or not theres going to be another preview for that game or something. Anyways, it was a great game for the Rockets against Utah. Bob Sura played a great game, something that I would hope to continue. I mean, he should play like that more often, aggressive and knocking down those jumpers. McGrady, what more can you say? He played his heart out, and got the game going. Almost all the role players played very well with the exception of Barrett, Gaines, and Weatherspoon who barely got any minutes. However, a problem that keeps floating in my mind is what will happen when Yao returns? Right now, they are playing a running game, something that totally will not happen with Yao posting up in the low post. So, will Van Gundy change their winning strategy just to fit Yao or go back to the old half court game?
Where's <strike>smelly neal</strike> with his houston negatives? C'mon wesley isn't that bad a player is he? That's what I said from the beginning..that trade might not be even but it wasn't a total ripoff either. We're actually playing well as a team right now with these trades. we got 2 team players instead of JJ's individual plays, we got Wesley's team play and Barry's smart plays as oppose to lue who doesnt play or look smart. We didn't lose much from Ty lue or Nachbar. <font color="red"><font size="-2">Personal Attacks will not be tolerated. This is your final warning.</font></font>
