Actually i kinda think the rockets can actually beat the suns , they keep theyre opponent to 89.8 point scoring average, so they can keep the suns to at least 90 points but they also need to start making shots and hitting them in , so if that happens we win

thanks, mr. obvious. if the rockets score more points than the suns after 4 quarters they should be able to pull out a win here..

Quoting drm2dnk:

Where's <strike>smelly neal</strike> with his houston negatives

Quoting Real Deal:

If the Rockets want to win this game, they need to shoot good. There isn't much to say about it otherwise...I think Yao is going to have trouble on the boards against Okur and Boozer. The man is way too soft...he needs to get tough.

McGrady has to get his players hot early...Wesley, Sura, and Barry. They need to start shooting right away so they'll have their shot ready by the half. Otherwise, they'll be cold all game, and McGrady will have to play 48 minutes to keep the Rockets in the game.

Also, Boozer is going to be tough to keep out of the passing lane between Yao and T-Mac. Yao needs to clear the paint when McGrady does decide to drive, so Tracy can either dish it off to Yao after the penetration, or take it up and draw the foul (get Boozer in foul trouble, possibly).

Remember Harpring. When he gets hot, he's off the hook from the arc. If this is the case, you'll see McGrady defending the perimeter rather than Jon Barry, who may be stuck with Bell. Sura...I don't know...he's not a good defender, but Arroyo's season hasn't been so great. Arroyo's definitely going to try and kick it out on penetrations.

Kirk Snyder should be dangerous off the bench...watch him.

Rockets should win this one in Houston, 87-82.

Rockets shot 45% from the field...pretty good really. Okur and Boozer grabbed 13 boards together, and Yao had 4 altogether.

Sura went 10-14 shooting, for 24 points...after McGrady had a mediocre first quarter...but turned it up after Sura was on fire...exactly what I said should happen. Wesley shot just under 50%...which is better than his average this year, which is under 40% I believe.

Boozer had 2 steals...while Yao had 4 turnovers and didn't score over 20 in this game...shooting 5-8. McGrady had 6 assists, which isn't bad, but isn't great either. Foul trouble...exactly what the Rockets did to Boozer...like I said.

For the rest...Snyder had 4 rebounds and 9 points in only 18 minutes off the bench, which I expected. Also, Harpring was held to 12 points on poor shooting...another key to the Rockets' victory I mentioned.

And ultimately, even if it wasn't that big of a deficit, I predicted the Rockets to win.

So drm2dnk, what are you complaining about? When you're right, you're right.

Hopefully he'll be recovered from his flu because Yao normally plays his best against quality centers.

I think there's a reason for this - that being, teams with quality centers he can play 1 on 1. Teams with no centers will double, front, etc.. and that's when Yao has the most problems. I think the way Yao has to deal with this is the same way he played against Toronto earlier this season.. Establish position early down low, and preferably in transition for more easy buckets. Once he's in the lane that deep he's tough to stop. If he has to work in the half court to fight through double-teams to get position he'll just get too tired and tail off by the 4th Q.
