It's completely possible Southerland and Hill don't get drafted either. If so, I'd try and snag one of them for the summer league roster.

I could see POR take Southerland with one of thier 2nd rounders....they interviewed him at the combine and he came out for a workout and he fits what they are looking for from a b\u SF...He can shoot, at minimum it would create competition woth Claver whose shot was hit\miss (more) all year....

Multiple reports suggest Adetokoubo won't stay in Europe -- draft stock may fall or it may be rumour designed to cause his stock to fall.

Didn't even think of that possibility...

Alex Len wasn't a 1st-, 2nd- or even 3rd-team All-ACC player in 2012-13. Now, he might become the 1st overall draft pick?

Wow, and he has stress fracture...

A friendly reminder that at some point today (think its 2 PM Eastern) all trades involving picks may not be official under after pick made

    Pinwheel Empire ‏@pinwheelempire 2m
So, if the Blazers for example were to trade up to the 3rd pick and deal included 10th pick, deal not official until after 10th pick.

While Cleveland has settled on Len if they keep the pick, the Orlando Magic are in a curious position. Orlando loves Victor Oladipo but are having serious discussions with Oklahoma City, Minnesota, and Portland about trading down with teams looking to grab Ben McLemore or Nerlens Noel.

The Wizards, according to a source, have placed Anthony Bennett at the top of their board. Bennett combined with John Wall and Bradley Beal would give the Wizards a dynamic threesome with plenty of offensive versatility. While some in the organization still like Otto Porter and think he is a safe choice, Bennett is the guy they are leaning toward.

The would allow Porter to drop to Charlotte at No. 4, which makes Michael Kidd-Gilchrist expendable. The teams trying hardest to get him are Golden State, Milwaukee, Boston and Atlanta.

Anyway - Chris Sheridan had all this to say

Barring a trade, #Cavs will take Alex Len with No. 1 pick. #Magic expected to trade No. 2 pick. Mock Draft 8.0: sheridanhoops.com/2013/06/27/moc…

    #10 Adams (passing on Zeller)

Fits with the rumor that they are completely overvaluing the #1 pick.

Hearing Phoenix could still go with a PG at 5. Michael Carter-Williams and Trey Burke both considered possibilities.

interesting, that would mean possibly passing on 1 or more of Oladipo, McLemore or Bennett

I hope as many PGs as possible get picked in the first 9. Each one pushes a better player down.

Cavs can keep dreaming about getting a 2014 lottery pick for the top pick this year. Next year's 10th pick is better than this yr's #1.

Think about that....if true....POR is in a really tough spot...either put pieces around LA to make them a contender (not just a playoff team) right away and hope it is enough for him to resign (and forgo 2012 pick in process) OR deal him now, insure you are not a playoff team to keep that 2012 pick.....

I dont think just making the playoffs will appease LA, that is the real problem here and if you make those moves, chances are he could still walk and to make matters worse by doing so, you lost your 2012 pick in a strong draft...

Olshey has his work cut out for him....

I dunno ... a lotto pick in 2014 is probably roughly equivalent to the 1st pick in this year's draft and if they got a veteran to boot, they theoretically could come out ahead of the game.

Dallas continues to shop #13. Minnesota and OKC want to move up. Memphis, Houston, Golden State, Philadelphia want to add a first-rounder.

Indications around the league the Blazers will keep 10. Had been considered a strong trade possibility because need vets more than youth.
