I have a hunch these NBA teams are going to pick the "best player available;" someone who "we ranked much higher than where we took him."

I think this could be the theme of this draft....

Two hours before the draft Cleveland is still taking offers for the No. 1 pick.

I suspect Cleveland will end up keeping the pick and drafting Noel or Len.

I think BPA in this draft will lead to a lot of interesting decisions, since people have different players ranked completely differently. And if McLemore drops to 5... I bet Blazers are allover that,

Big reason there could be so few trades at the top: Teams that have picks think they are worth much more than the teams inquiring about them

This is the reason for lack of deals before the draft IMO

I think if they take it for trade, it would have to be Noel. Noel would not be a bad piece to keep in storage for half a season.

Freeman and Goliver think our pick will be Cody Zeller.

I sure hope not. I'm praying Zeller goes before #10. I don't want Zeller or Adams but it is looking like it might be one of those two.

I swear to God, if this is my last Blazer draft day ever, and we pick Cody Zeller, I will unplug me, MYSELF, tonight

Zeller seems like the safe, tradeable pick. I'm not sure he fits well with the current lineup, but he might surprise me too. If he and/LMA could get down the court consistently they could really run the steam out of some opposing centers.

Why all the hate for Zeller? I think he's got potential to be a very solid 5. Not All Star caliber, but very solid starting 5. Is it the white guys are always busts fear?

Man I really don't want to draft another center that will probably not amount to much. Rather go with a guard, someone who many have the ability to create shots for himself and others. Center just isn't going to do it for me.

I think one other possibility is that if POR does end up dealing LA, like at the trade deadline or beyond, Zeller could be a potential replacement at PF....

Most so called experts think he is a 4 and I don't think he is a good 4 or 5. I sort of liked him last year with the small sample size of times I watched him. I saw almost all his games this year and wouldn't touch him unless there is nothing left. I rather have Dieng.

Phoenix is one of few teams trying to get lower first round picks. Suns need young bodies....

this looks like something the blazers could get in on
