    I would.

There is no doubt that Withey can block shots, but he has similar strength issues to Leonard, both have weak lower body strength, and he's already 23 years old. I also worry about his footspeed in the pnr. He wasn't asked to hedge on picks much at Kansas and with def. 3 seconds, he won't be able to lay back in the paint as much as he did in college.

It's funny, I wasn't really pleased with Leonard when we picked him at 11, but if you look at the draft there isn't much that excites me after 11 anyway.

Lamb wouldn't have been a bad pick.

    Harkless

    Terrence Jones

It's too bad Drummond didn't drop two more spots :sigh:

I was the same way. I wanted a SG and would have preferred Lamb at 11. But Leonard has looked better than I expected offensively. Defensively as we all know he has a long ways to go, but I really think his weaknesses are coach-able. Hopefully they don't fuck up his knees building up his lower body strength.

And I also think there can be a case made that Barton could end up as good as Lamb.

How would you guys feel about a Oladipo and Dieng draft?

Oladipo would be huge. Put him with Lillard and we would have one of the best young backcourts in the league.

I started out wanting Shabazz on the team more, but the more i hear about Oladipo, the more i want him to drop to them instead.

It doesn't look like he'll even be around at 10 (if we get it). We'd have to move up to take him, and I don't think that's in the cards.

    Draftexpress has him at #4
    NBAdraft.net has him at #8
    Hoopsworld has him at #6

Assuming we're just buying the 1st round pick to get Dieng, I would be absolutely thrilled by that. I would be pumped going into next season with a lineup that looked like:

    Lillard/Maynor
    Matthews/Oladipo/Barton
    Batum/Claver
    Aldridge/Freeland
    Leonard/Dieng

I like both as well. Even if we get the 10th pick, it looks like we'll need to trade up to 8 or 9 to get Oladipo. Don't see either detriot or minny passing up on him if he's there.

10th plus who? Maybe the highest of our 2nd rounders would be enough.

Dieng's alright. I'm just afraid he has no upside. With the 10th pick I'd rather go with a guy with more upside.

Good chance he may go as high as #4 or #5.

Does anyone know what direction Isaiah Austin has been leaning in? I haven't heard anything from his camp yet. I would really like to see him get another year or two of NCAA experience before declaring though.

If I remember correctly last year our top 10-12 choices changed around a lot between the end of the NBA season and the actual draft. It will be interesting to see who emerges and who falls in the next 60 days after the pre draft camps and individual workouts occur. I think #10 will be attractive to either the Blazers or a trading partner. We just need about 2-3 more players to impress everyone.

Good move for Austin. Bad move for Payne, dumb move for Roberson.
