    The quiet before the storm?

This place is going to be crackalackin with news and rumors in the next couple weeks when workouts start taking place with teams.

Everyone's sleepin' on Hardaway Jr... He solves a lot of problems and is easily gotten.

I hope the Blazers are working him out - and that he kills it.

So the only players we've had workout for us is D'League type talent?

I saw enough Michigan games to know that Hardaway is not a good pick for the Blazers.

If they are going to go after a son of a former NBA player, I hope they go after Glen Rice.

    Hardaway Jr. in the lotto?

    No.

Somewhere in the 20's is a more realistic spot for him. IMO he's a backup on this level. Would much rather have Larkin.

In a text message, Brandon Triche said he would work out for Portland on Friday. After Friday's workout with the Trail Blazers, Triche will work out for the Sacramento Kings on Monday followed by another session with the New York Knicks on Wednesday. The Post-Standard

    Si.com on Saric:

He sounds like a Popovich type of player. I think he's a darkhorse at #10. He's also getting serious consideration by the Pelicans at #6. He's been to Portland twice and spoke highly of the city -- reminds him of his hometown of Zagreb, Croatia - "only taller".

Just watched Once Brothers again...this whole post makes him sound eerily similar to Drazen Petrovic.

Then again, how many players from the area were also eerily similar? I'm not shitting on Saric, because if anyone claims to know his game on this board, they're talking out their ass. I'm just still reeling from the years of prospects like Tskitishvili and Korolev.

BTW - Am I the only one that wants to see Mike Bruesewitz get a crack at the league? His numbers weren't there, but he was the heart and soul of the Badgers for the last two or three seasons. Let's at least give the guy a Big 10 analyst position...

Although a back up PF is certainly not my first or second choice, I get this uneasy feeling that in a couple of years we will regret not taking him. But that is just based on blogs posts like the one above. Sounds like he is too slow to be a wing so PF it is. But most of the video I have seen of him are a couple of years old. can he rebound and play D?

We need depth everywhere, so again best player available...... even if it is a boring pick.

well, I don't want to rain on probasketballtalk's parade, but if you're Flip Saunders didn't know that MIN needed a SG then I don't know how you got hired. :dunno:
