Has anybody picked up Udrih? Still think he'd be a great pick-up for us, despite the crowded back court.

He'd seem to be a perfect pickup for the Nets. Clearly, they don't care about the salary cap.

That would give us the best bet at the conference finals. I just want two things in the Playoffs this year. One is to get out of the first round and the other is to play OKC.
Playing OKC I would have little hope of winning a series but I want to see how we match up vs them in the Playoffs. That should help Olshey really figure out what this team needs for a legit finals push.

Reminds me of the time we lost by 65 points at Indy (after we beat the Jordan-led Bulls in Chicago two nights before by 5 points - I believe this was MJ's last year in Chicago and ended with another Championship).

Granger to the Clips and Butler to OKC, anyone else see this? The Granger pickup slots us behind LA for playoff seedings IMO.

Clips are deep I think were already better than the Blazers, but do they really improve? Between Barnes and Crawford and Turkoglu, and Willie Green and Redick and Dudley ..........is Granger any better? They have a lot of good wings already. Maybe they see him as a PF?

Before Granger I had LA and PDX neck and neck, Granger bumps them up. He may not be better then the others you mentioned but he is more quality, which just makes them deeper and more versatile. I think we can bump SA and/or Houston but not both, so Im picking us at 4 at the moment.

You must not have seen Granger play in Indy this season. He sucks. Will Barton is far superior.

If anything it's CP coming back from injury and meshing well with a surging Blake that might put LAC over us, not Danny effin Granger.

I was at both of those games. From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows.

Supposedly All-Stars were wanting to come here, but not even guys like Granger or Davis were talking about wanting to come here.

Are there even rumors of us attempting to sign any of these guys?

Nope. I'm just saying, they didn't even list us as teams that they'd like to go to. Why would you want to go to a team like the Clippers that already has a pretty damn deep bench?

Davis is an easy one because of his connection with Doc Rivers.

Granger wouldn't play much here, nor should he. I wouldn't read too much into either of them not listing Portland. For one, Portland has zero available roster spots. Secondly, it's their agents putting out information, not Davis and Granger speaking in front of a mic and saying "I want this team or this team."

Good point. I don't particularly want either player, but I just don't understand everyone wanting to go to LAC.

Cuz they play in LA. Hell, I'd rather live in LA too.

But I think the biggest factor is most of the nation still doesn't think we have a chance to win. I was listening to a few shows on ESPN radio today and there's always mentions of OKC/Spurs/LAC and even HOU as potential western winners. Not one media personality even thinks of POR as being in that group. This mindset probably coincides with what most of these players think as well.

I woulda liked to see Davis here but I had 0 interest in a washed up Granger or Butler
