Bazemore isn't a bad option but i'd rather pay Crabbe then Bazemore and they will most likely make around the same amount.

Nic's a-hole agent burning bridges and talking bullshit again. FWIW, his agent also represents Ian Mahinmi. Might cross him off the Center list for us.

Ha! That tells you something if Charlotte is already tired of him. Some fans on here were like bemoaning what a great season he was supposedly having in Charlotte....but he was the same old Nic, only getting a large volume of shots.

Nic is mediocre SF who seems to think he'd be a super-star if only a team would "use him right". His biggest problem is he doesn't have enough heart to be a guy you want to go to war with in the playoffs. You never know when he's going to fold and start coasting around....

Yeah, our need is at PF, we can trade the #9 along with Patterson or Ross to try and fill that gap. Batum's agent is looking for a $100-million contract and we already have Carroll playing small forward.

His agent has been trying to steer him there for years.

I'm guessing Nic has status with skyteam? Bunch of direct flights to Europe from MSP.

He can play SG also, in fact he did in Charlotte. I think Toronto could find the minutes for him.

Why would derozan leave a team that might make the nba finals?

Add a pf to that team and they are basically the best team in the east.

Because he cares more about his next shoe deal than about winning. His marketability as a Laker will allegedly triple.

And that is exactly the reason why I was ok with trading him last summer. We went through his agents bullshit once before. We have pretty much the same chance to sign him this summer regardless. It was going to come down to money either way. And he just is not worth what he wants.

Having said that, I would welcome him back with open arms...for the right price.

Steven A. Smith screamed it, so it must be true:

“He’s made it very, very clear that he wants to be in L.A.,” Smith said of DeRozan’s intentions in free agency. “He has family out there. He’s from out there. He wants to be in L.A. He wants to wear the purple and gold, and if there’s a way for it to happen, again he’s restricted, if there’s a way for it to happen, DeMar DeRozan will be in a Los Angeles Lakers uniform next season.”

Well, except for the part about DeRozan being a restricted free agent (he's unrestricted).

Yep, that was my exact thought when I read his agent's comments. DeRozan to Lakers, Batum to TOR.

Nic at 15-20 mil/ yr is a good deal.
Nic at 26 mil/ yr is asking for trouble.
