Missing Thanksgiving, Christmas, my wife’s birthday, my daughter and son’s birthday......but other than that, the schedule looks great.
Mrs. HCP jokes aside, do you ever take your wife on the road with you? It sucks that you have to work on her birthday, but depending on where the Blazers play that day, maybe fly her in for a night or two, assuming a night off between games. Might be a special treat for her to enjoy a nice dinner in a New York (or wherever the team is playing) restaurant and maybe some shopping while in town. BNM

Crap! That’s a no win proposition around here. If the Blazers win most of them all we’re going to hear is the schedule is soft. If they lose more than half of them it’s the end of the world because the schedule is soft.
Crap, I wish that there had already been a post that had already posted about this and instead of having this post put another post on ignore like a child it could've just seen that it was already posted.
Sometimes I really want to ignore some posters, including myself... Maybe change the ignore function to only ignore post content and not threads of an author?
Oh thank god for this--all the other schedules just said we were playing at neutral locations. This clears it up so much.
Thanks man. Ya when the schedule leaks, we sit down and figure out when she can come out and join me somewhere. Usually once or twice a season. Spoil her at the hotel and spend some time together. NYC, Miami, SF. She's been to some cool places. She loves the team hotel as well. Kids come out every now and then too.
And on the other hand, as crazy and hectic my schedule is from Oct-May......it's pretty chill the rest of the year. I work, but have a bunch of time off. Just looked at my calendar and since flying home from the Game 4 loss @ NOLA, I've had 70 days off. I have friends that only get 2 to 3 weeks off a YEAR. So I defiantly take time off in the summer to be with the FAM. It can be tough though.
