4 PFs at the top of the draft who are just different. It’s a good class.

After watching some Summer League … yes, it’s Summer League … the execs and scouts look pretty competent. Banchero is better, now, and has a high floor. Holmgren needs 20 lbs and core strength — minimum — but the skills are there; he’s a unique project. OKC is aiming high and good for them. Smith has work to do on his game to maximize his stroke, but Rashard Lewis comps are too low if he puts in the work. And Keenan Murray has work on his handles and first step and … to make his all around skills come together … he seems like an Al Horford, low drama, baller.

I realize fans have their favorites. Murray being the best of the 4 is a serious stretch, but his floor looks good; he may be my favorite despite not being the best. The other 3? All can hit as excellent players. I just don’t know.

Blazers Related: Jabari Walker. Pick 57? One away from the NBA’s version of Mr. Irrelevant? Undrafted isn’t better, but what the hell? He could be good. Long career good. And I look forward to the next game to see how much Alexander plays … otherwise known as #42.

Good point. What I think is the NBA wants them to start so they are adding the personal connection type frilly stuff. It was so evident showing momma in the stands and such. Kind of turning into Americas Got Talent with the tear jerker background stories.

I can’t wait for the summer league All-Star announcement and summer league All-Star game.

3 Point and Dunk contest? Maybe they could throw in a Mom and Dads game? Come to think of it that could be really good?

Here's something. The Blazers - Knicks game tonight. Celebrity refereeing?

Got to wonder if he isn't pretty good? Probably better than what we have been seeing?

Well, the announcers keep literally getting the teams wrong, so you're on point.

There's the international aspect of the summer league that can be a topic of side-entertainment too. The Australian ABL people are saying "play well, but not too well."

One of the people even started to mis-pronounce "Las Vegas" and corrected herself. Are they all tired from staying up/drunk /both?

I'll take "Tired, Drunk, or Doris Burke" for $200, Alex.

Remember that competition that had Ex-NBA, Current NBA, and WNBA? (They never should have gotten rid of it…) That could be the Moms and Dads.

Doris Burke is a solid 7.5/10

In a league with few female commentators, Doris Burke is a trailblazer. I’d welcome more female commentators. Why aren’t there many? Kind of interesting if you think about it…

    Doris understands the game.

We could get Eric to take part in the Las Vegas Summer League Minor Celebrity Game presented by Hardee's.

Fantastic! I can’t wait to see how nice the Hardee’s logo looks on the hardwood.

Him and Eason have huge defensive ceilings. Rockets could get good quick.
