    The thing with these players is.....most of them havent had that big paycheck yet. They are young. They will want $$$$, not some trinket.

    Sure, if they go for $1,000 folks might not sell them. If they go $50,000 not a chance very many of the non roster players will keep them.

    I’d wear that MF in a heartbeat!
    I was an athlete for a D1 college with expectations to go pro. In my second year at college I sustained an injury and never even got the chance to even begin that journey.
    You bet your life I’d appreciate that ring.
    Those guys are currently part of the best 1000 players in the entire world.
    I’d love having a ring like that.

    I'd MUCH rather have the cash than a ring.

    Better yet - an all-expense paid vacation somewhere.

    It's funny because every year I head into summer league saying "team results don't matter at all." but the second we start playing well, I want to win the stupid thing! Makes no sense!

    What else should we be talking about right now? The roster is set, we're hard capped, not really a potential participant in any proposed trades... there's not really much else going on.
