Vance also didn't learn how to pronounce "Haiti" at Yale.

Too much time spent in the echo chamber of the Ten Four Good Buddy CB Radio Circle. Too much time to yap and not enough time to educate themselves. They'd rather feed off each other's insecurities. Most teamsters I ever met (and I was a Teamster once) are not the brightest lights in the light rack. Neither is their management. It's probably a non endorsement that Harris won't really miss, but Trump will.

This is thanks to corporations owning nearly all radio (and the general blitz of allowing corporations to own and consolidate so much of media). The abundance of right-wing radio talk shows is incredible. Blue collar workers have been exposed to this for 30 or 40 years.

My grandfather was a truck driver forever. Actually my whole family have been truck drivers. Many who weren't truck drivers worked on the docks. Most of them support Republicans and listen to right-wing talk shows.

The problem is compounded by the fact that Democrats are owned by corporations and so are Republicans. So Democrats look like liars when they say they'll fight for $15 minimum wage and Medicare for all etc and then when they actually do have power they don't fight for any of it. Because they are actually lying to us.

We get Obamacare which was created by The Heritage Foundation. And we only got that because people were so pissed off about pre-existing conditions that we were actually going to revolt enough that we would push through some actual good stuff.

So everybody supported Obama and "CHANGE". And then Democrats came out looking like liars because they didn't stand tall on any of the agenda that actually separated them from typical Republicans.

    I’m a Teamster.

And you’re right, there is a good amount of idiots among the workforce.

In todays political climate, who unions endorse will have no bearing on who the members individually vote for.

A union predominantly of 35-60-year-old white men who can support their guy knowing if he loses it won't hurt because Harris still will have their backs.

BTW, the Teamsters Black Caucus and California chapter both endorsed Harris after the national office didn't.
