Former Chief of Staff: Trump Said He Wanted 'Kind of Generals That Hitler Had'

The former president "never accepted the fact that he wasn't the most powerful man in the world—and by power, I mean an ability to do anything he wanted, anytime he wanted," said former adviser John Kelly.

But??? 24 states have laws requiring them to vote for the candidate that wins the popular vote so no not really. A tie is really tough to actually have happen because in that case there are also rukles about how the electoral college handles itself.
The House votes on the president and the Senate picks the VP.

Yeah, that was what I was talking about--what happens if there's an electoral-vote tie.

I neglected to mention the part about VP being elected by the Senate, but that's also very interesting. An EC tie could result in a Trump/Walz presidency.

I've been watching some of the analysis after Harris' town hall and discussions with focus groups and audience members.

One of the attendees said they wanted both candidates to stop taking personal shots at each other.

They then followed that up with specifically that "Kamala should just leave Trump alone."

What a Bizarro world we live in now where the guy whose entire campaign history is founded on childish personal attacks, the 78-year-old male billionaire, is getting sympathy for being a victim because his own staffers have called him a fascist.

We might be the dumbest advanced nation in the history of the earth.

I voted this week on Tuesday. I live in Vancouver so the easiest drop box was at Vancouver Mall. When I dropped my ballot I noticed as I was pulling away a security guard was watching me. He was parked about 3-400 ft away but he was definitely watching what was happening at that ballot box. I think this is a pretty good idea. Make sure someone is watching all the time.

Maybe not so much by design originally but it sure seems that is what a certain group of individuals wants.
