Although it's probably not going to happen, I'd love for the Sixers to pick up either Acie Law or Mike Conley with our #12 pick, then go for a swing man with our second selection, either Derrick Bryars or Marco Belinelli, then a big man with our last selection in the first, McRoberts, Sean Williams, Glenn Davis, or DeVon Hardin would all look fine in a Sixers uniform. A point guard at #12 would be awesome, as Louis Williams is more of a shooting guard in the body of a point guard. Somebody that can learn under Andre Miller for the next year or so (at least until he gets traded or takes a back seat). Our first pick should definitely either be a physical big man or a point guard then build the rest of the draft off that first pick. I'd like the Sixers to take a shot on Marco Belinelli. When him and Korver are on the court at the same time it's going to be tough for a defense to stop both of them from the outside.
I think theres going to be a lot of surprises come draft day, and i think one of them is going to be the 76ers moving up in the draft. If they dont, i really dont know who they could take as far as big men that might help out their team. Billy King needs to get buisy on the phones on draft night to pull out a deal.
I honestly think we can trade up to 3rd. ATL wants Conley or Law and neither are really #3 pick worthy, so they'll likely try to trade down...perfect opportunity. Billy will further redeem himself if he can make it happen.
What would it take to get the third overall pick? All three of our first rounders? Keep in mind that the Hawks also have the 11th overall pick (from Indiana, I believe). They can take someone like Brandan Wright with the 3rd pick and still get Conley or Law with the 11th
The latest Conley would go is to the Bucks. Mo Williams is a free agent, and they are in dire need of a point guard since they traded away TJ Ford. Then Law would most likely go to SacTown at 10.

Can someone give me some info on Spencer Hawes? nbadraftnet has us taking him with the 12th pick, and I haven't really heard much about him
Hes a Clone of Brad Miller Sixers should get a high energy PF, Joakim would be nice but that will make have the sixers like that bulls with no inside off. so the answer to sixer problem is Brandon Wright but hes gonna be done. so Hawes is the best choice then get Jarvaris Crittention(mis spell) who is 6'5 PG. VERY UNDERATED
how about trading Andre Miller and our two lower picks for the number 3? or trading miller with the number 12? i know Atlanta is in need of a pg and Miller is a perfect veteran to add to a young team. look how he helped the sixers this year. Theres a lot of different combinations that Billy King should be trying to pursue.
We have a legitimate PG in Miller, between the 2 and the 3 position we have 4legit guys: Iggy, Green, Korver, and Carney. At the 4 we have nobody who deserves to be an NBA starter, not even a little bit. At 5 we have two guys that could start, but could be upgraded (Sammy and Hunter). I think we obviously have to do whatever possible to get a 4. I'd rather have Noah than Wright anyway, call me crazy, but I think we'll be able to score enough, and Noah was the heart and Soul of the best College team over the course of two years in at least a decade.
Drafting Noah would be a mistake, unless its with our middle pick. If we can move up thats what we have to do, no questions asked. We need Horford or Wright. Those guys are going to be big time scorers in the post, and thats what we need, not a hustle guy who rebounds and blocks shots. thats what we have sammy for.
Anyone else think that if we fail to land either Julian Wright or Jeff Green at #12 that we should strongly consider picking a point guard such as Acie Law or Mike Conley? With Dalembert in the block, Carney and Iguodala on the wings, and Miller at point we have the build of a fast-break team. Conley might not be on the board, but if we can get Law with our #12 that could make Andre Miller expendable later in the draft for a proven low-post player. I'd really prefer to try and trade up and secure either Julian Wright or Jeff Green (maybe even Conley), but we should try and keep the #21 at all costs, thus making a trade unlikely. There's definitely going to be somebody that slips through the cracks and land in that range (Danny Granger, Marcus Williams, Jameer Nelson, etc.), so if I were Billy King I wouldn't want to move the #21. Roy Hibbert pulling out might have been a blessing in disguise. He plays too much of an old school brand of basketball for me to strongly consider him at #12. This also causes Hawes to move up in the draft order (another guy I'm not crazy about).
