I was watchin the Hawks/Pelicans game last and Langston Galloway absolutely flatten the Hawks coach while diving for a ball. He was already suffering from a broken finger and he couldn't continue in the game. I think that's the first time I've seen something like that happen. Although I'm sure it's happen in the league before.

Pistons center Aron Baynes has had surgery to repair his nose he broke during practice. He will wear a protective mask when he returns.

Damn KAT with 31 points in 27 minutes. 17/17 from free throw line! Is he for real?

Montero played 3 min. for Miami tonight. Impressively, he shots 6 shots in that time. Unfortunately, for him, he only made 1.

Some big blowouts tonight. DAL lost to DEN by 26. CHA lost to MIN by 35 and TOR lost to WAS by 37.

Kyle Lowry had 8 points on 3-11 shooting, 0-4 from 3-point range and 6 TOV. No wonder all the pundits consider him better than Lillard. It's only preseason and Lowry is already in playoff form.

Thank you Jesus, for losing me my car and my purse!

(Official footnote: Lest anyone think I carry a purse, the above is a parody.)

(But I hope these high heels never get stolen. They cost me a fortune, darling.)
