I really hope it's nothing. Paul George is a top 10 player when he is 100%

Yeah injuries tend to do that. That's why at the beginning of the season when we are guessing about the records of different teams at the end of the season we always preface it with "if healthy........"

That and we basically shut it down for the last 6 games of the season.

What gets me is with all okc injuries they still almost made the playoffs. It took a tie breaker with the Pels for them to miss it. Lol

True, but without the injuries they are easily 2-3 in the NBA. So yeah it hurt them quite a bit. They should be playing for the championship this year, or at least the WCF.

Seems like there were a LOT of injuries this year. Is that just because stars went down or is it getting worse? I think they really should reduce the number of games and expand the time between games. But there's ZERO incentive for owners to agree to that. And players aren't going to want to give up salary to compensate.

It was also true that more coaches started to copy Pop and rest players for no reason other than to rest them. THAT might cause some changes, or at least it would if the fans demanded refunds or something.

The Oklahoma City Thunder will evaluate whether to retain Scott Brooks as head coach in the final guaranteed year of his current contract.

Brooks is guaranteed for the 15-16 season and the Thunder hold a team option for 16-17.

Sam Presti has to decide an organizational direction for the final year of Kevin Durant's contract, and that will include a decision about whether Brooks remains the coach to give the Thunder the best chance to win a title.

Several league sources close to Brooks have doubts about his job security.

Billy Donovan and Kevin Ollie could become serious candidates for the job if the Thunder don't bring back Brooks.

If the Blazers loose in the first round might Brooks peek our interest? This could be a future thread.

You really come up with some stupid ideas in your posts. No way Stotts gets fired for a first round exit with how injuries went and Brooks isn't a big enough name to fire a coach who has proven he is good, which Stotts has, for a coach who is horrible at in game adjustments and who played Perkins huge minutes when he could barely move and there was better talent behind him. Brooks is a good coach but isn't a top tier coach and is only really proven because he has 2 of the NBA's top 5 players and has one of the best defenders in the NBA.

You do realize the general conscious about Scotty Brooks is that he's a really bad coach right?
Especially out of OKC. The players back him but... that's about it....

If you look back I'm not the first person to say something like that.

You certainly aren't the first person to say something ridiculous on an anonymous internet board. I will give you that.
