He's had his epiphany... I love this:

"I’m trying to ask myself what I should actually do.

How can I — as a white man, part of this systemic problem — become part of the solution when it comes to racism in my workplace? In my community? In this country?

These are the questions that I’ve been asking myself lately.

And I don’t think I have all the answers yet — but here are the ones that are starting to ring the most true:

I have to continue to educate myself on the history of racism in America.

I have to listen. I’ll say it again, because it’s that important. I have to listen.

I have to support leaders who see racial justice as fundamental — as something that’s at the heart of nearly every major issue in our country today. And I have to support policies that do the same.

I have to do my best to recognize when to get out of the way — in order to amplify the voices of marginalized groups that so often get lost.

    But maybe more than anything?

I know that, as a white man, I have to hold my fellow white men accountable.

We all have to hold each other accountable.

And we all have to be accountable — period. Not just for our own actions, but also for the ways that our inaction can create a “safe” space for toxic behavior.

And I think the standard that we have to hold ourselves to, in this crucial moment….. it’s higher than it’s ever been. We have to beactive. We have to be actively supporting the causes of those who’ve been marginalized — precisely because they’ve been marginalized."

    Zach Lowe's pod today: (verbatim)

"the elephant in the room for the NBA is what is going on with Portland's ownership, and whether they will offer Dame the supermax. Neil Olshey is a candidate that the Lakers should consider as a potential candidate. He has ties to LA..."

Blake Griffin sitting with a “sore knee” in a must win to get in the playoffs. That’s Weak Sauce in my book.

Yeah, Im all for injury prevention, but the least they couldve done is called it something else. Saying he’s got a sore knee so he cant play seems lame.

The first thing NBA Countdown said when it just started was “we have everything lakers on nba countdown”. Makes me fucking sick. This magic quitting shit, which who fucking cares, is an espn wet dream come true. They know how stupid they look continuing to play laker games every week when LBJ isn’t playing and they aren’t even in the playoff race but now they can continue the fluffing and talk about off the court laker stories, so disgusting.

    Kevin Knox is so bleh.

Slow, no physicality, not a passer or defender. Not skilled or athletic enough to be a wing and can't rebound or defend nearly enough to be a 4.

But I guess if you're a fluid 6'9" with a pretty form, that's enough to be a lottery pick.

Mamma Mia, some of those women in spandex dresses looked terrific. Lots of slit skirts and bare shoulders. I fell in love about 10 times.

This morning turned on TV to see highlights. They showed game winning shot, then talked Magic. S F Chronicle MBA summary was lengthy story about Magic and Lakers with half sentence mentioning the game.
