He's a terrible GM. But getting this group to the playoffs, getting a Darrel Armstrong lead Magic team to the playoffs is really impressive.

Honestly, I passed because living in Oakland can't stand watching Warriors with all the grovelling.

Oh well. Their bandwagon fans will call this worse than Notre Dame de Paris burning.

    This group?...

He had Tobias Harris, Danilo Gallinari, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell and SGA and got the 8th seed. That's not impressive.

Yeah this group. One borderline all star who isnt even there anymore. An oft injured slow guy, a rookie and a couple really good bench players does not equal a really talented roster.

I dont like Doc but 48 wins in the west is pretty good.

    This is simply a fallacy.

Let's not forget Blake Griffin sat out his entire 09' rookie season.

So in his 10 year career he's had 3 seasons where he played 80+ games.

He was injured the other 7 seasons. And he's always injured in the playoffs.

    I'm good.

Man, of all the years to have our star center go down.... ugh.

GS looks shot this year. Getting to the finals 5 yrs in a row is ridiculously hard-- don't think they'll win this year even if they do get there.

Close. 66 games in 2012 was the full season. So he's been injured 6 seasons, not 7.

I've given you more recent and relevant stats that you've conveniently ignored in order to continue your blind and biased hatred of a love that would give Portland a chance to finally win a championship.

He has 4 borderline all-stars based on their performance this season, with a lot of good role players behind them.

Doc has never, and will never, be a good coach.

I'd say he has 0 borderline all-stars right now and his closest got traded to Philly, maybe those guys are borderline all-stars in the east.
I like Harrell and Lou is a good bench scorer but not even close to all-star level to me.

You're really sleeping on those guys then:

    Core 3 Stats (Per 36)
    Williams - 20/5 (27/7)
    Harrell - 17/7 (23/9)
    Gallinari - 20/6 (24/7)

And then Tobias Harris for most of the season.

Is it just me, looking at Brooklyn beating Philadelphia, Orlando beating Toronto and Clippers beating GS, wonder how the hell we lost 8 straight playoff games? Some things Rivers said last night about changing some things on the fly, lineups, defensive and offensive schemes...... Hasn't that been Stotts' main weakness, in- game adjustments? Hopefully he has learned and will be ready this time.

Not sleeping on any of them, I just don't think their borderline allstars. Gallinari and Williams can't guard anyone. Harrell is good, but he's not an all-star maybe in a couple of years but I kind of doubt it.
Players that are better than them in the western conference (alone) is like 20 players long...

Jody Allen and the Seahawks extended Russell Wilson with the richest contract in the NFL.

I don't think we have any reason to worry about them extending Dame this summer.
