The problem with the whole point is "Borderline All-Stars". The difference between Borderline and not at all is like a couple points a game and a rebound or two. Maybe one full assist a game? The fact remains that at the NBA level most players can have an impact on the right team. Coaching and a willingness to play team ball all come into play. The biggest thing about those players is Gallinari and Williams are very wily veterans now. If you sleep on them they will make you pay. Harrell is now in 4th year and has improved every year. That dude absolutely plays with a chip on his shoulder and will out work you if you don't take him seriously. He's not a shooter though. Not a knock at all but he could use some better numbers outside 12 feet. But boy around the basket he is deadly. It's the difference between good player, great player, star, All Star. They are all good players no question.

Every team has players who get good per36 numbers. Someone has to score, someone has to rebound. Those guys aren’t All Stars but they’re very good.

Unless the plan is to keep the Hawks and sell the Blazers? Oh wait:(

I actually believe he gets his extension.

Exactly. Suns have players with good per36 numbers too. Why aren’t they in playoffs?

Exactly. The NBA is full of good players that can win a game on any night.

    Suns core per 36
    Booker 27 ppg
    Warren 20 ppg
    Oubre 20 ppg
    Ayton 19 ppg 12 rpg

They must have homecourt in the first round! Don’t sleep on them!

By the way, if a player could actually produce per36 in 36 minutes, then the coach would play him 36 minutes. I mean why hold Lou Williams back if he can average 27/7??

Right? This LAC team is like a very poor man's version of Larry Brown's Pistons. Except the Pistons had legit all-stars, even if they were overshadowed by bigger stars. There isn't a single player on LAC that a GM would choose to build a roster around. It's a team of role players and they've exceeded expectations. Whether or not that's due to Doc is debatable.

Look this is kind of some of the problem. You expect it and he pushes it. Don’t let that happen.
In his defense Bones has been very refined as of late.
A mod however should not goad it on.

Wow I just went back and read the last few pages of this thread. I had no idea the Clips pulled it out last night. I went to bed halfway through the 3rd.
Damn I missed a good one.

When I first saw the score this morning, I was like, "wow I am so tired I'm hallucinating. Then my Dad sent me a text at 5:15 am telling me verbatim, "Good Call saying the Clippers wouldn't win a game". I then looked again and was like wow what happened, last I checked they were down by like 25...

When have those players lead a team anywhere outside this season with Doc? Two of them come off the bench as they would on many playoff teams.

Clippers won 9 fewer games than Golden State. Within 2 games of OKC who had two MVP and quality role players.

Lakers Pelicans Minnesota Sacramento all had superior talent to the Clippers but achieved the lottery.

I'm not saying Doc is the league's elite coach.... The results of his team show no evidence of poor coaching as you are stating.

Watched that whole game last night late.....what a crazy ass comeback. But everybody needs to chill with the "Warriors are done or finished" bullshit. Nobody is going to beat them 4 times in a series. They'll win again and KD, Boogie and Klay will move on.

I think you're right, but Boogie going down, wear and tear, attitude issues. I think a couple of teams can give them a heck of a series and who knows you get to 6 or 7 game series' and funny things happen sometimes.

No. He was the #1 pick in 09'.

He sat out that entire season. It's 7 years.

The 73 win warriors lost. This team doesn't have the depth. They were a quarter away from losing in game 7 last year. I still think their the strong favorites. However I could definitely see Houston or the east team beating them.

Does the bolded need to be green instead?? If not...

Stop this shit. WTF are you even talking about??

Your stats don't mean much when he's injured AGAIN in the playoffs.
