I'm just saying don't make a big deal about him hitting 6k assists. I know how great he is, but are you really going to talk about his legacy in how many assists he had? Get out with that.

I hear you, but ANYTIME somebody does something that NOBODY else has EVER done, good or bad, I wanna' hear about it. I love MJ, Magic, Bird, Isiah, 'Nique.......NONE of them accomplished this. Not The Big 'O', Jerry West, anybody!

Just hate seeing players get hate on when it's not really deserved.

Who cares? Try his the revolving door of coaches and teammates. He definitely doesn't care. Lot of great players gave up chances at a ring to get away from the guy. One thing for sure, Kobe is an amazing competitor but a lousy teammate

Cleveland put in an All-Star bid in the same window as Portland. Does this hurt our chances of getting it? I'd think the NBA would stand to make much more money putting it in Lebrons back yard. Fortunately I believe that it is a 2 year window.

Here's a Chris Haynes article if any of you missed his writing. Do you think cleveland.com would complain to the Team if I posted an excerpt?

Before my time and I don't follow the NFL like the NBA. Respect what he did on the field though.

Ask Steve Kerr how lousy a teammate Jordan was! MJ punched him in the damn face during practice.

Arguably not even top 5 player the Lakers ever had. Kareem, Magic, Wilt, West, and Shaq. Elgin Baylor, too.

I will say this. Kobe is a damn fine player and 5 time champion. I would lie to you if I would tell you I wouldn't want to have championships if it meant Kobe would be on this team.

I still think he's a fucking douche, and he's not even close to Jordan in greatness. Kobe has a career PER of 23.5. Still great, but nowhere near Jordan or LBJ per averages of 29

Now that's a guy who should write a book about basketball! Kerr has the most unpunchable face I've ever seen. Funny how him and Will Perdue both won more rings than MJ when they also won after getting traded to the Spurs! I think he'll get coach of the year.

Denny, my whole family is in SoCal. My grandparents were die hard Laker fans growing up. I loved Showtime when I was a kid. You guys know this.

We offered to trade you to a L*kers forum for a bag of chips and they turned us down.

I'm in SoCal, but I'd almost be a Clippers fan than be a fan of the other LA team. I really appreciate PJax for the championship Bulls' teams and wish him well wherever he goes, but that's not the same as rooting for the L*kers. I did like Magic.

When your grandparents were growing up the Lakers were in Minnesota.

You can't be a Lakers fan and a Blazer fan. Its pretty sacrilege.

No they didn't. Kerr wasnt part of the first 3 titles and Perdue wasn't part of the last 3 titles. Did they win 4 titles somewhere else?

Edit: I looked it up. Kerr won 3 titles in Chicago and 2 in SAS. Perdue won 3 titles in Chicago and 1 in SAS

Yeah, but he wasn't one of MJ's teammates. You would call that one out as well.

You're right, Kerr had 5, MJ 6, I think he was joking that he and Will combined had more rings than MJ.
