It was their first year. It was to be expected wasn't it? Even Lebron from the start said he thought it would take them a couple of years to get it together because the guys didn't understand what you have to do to get it done.

Somebody on these forums is Harrison Barnes' #1 fan, who is it?

MJs bitch ass never had to deal with this many key injuries to his team. Would MJ have ever even made it to the finals with a bummed knee Pippen, no rodman/grant and cartwright/Longley

Honestly do you guys think the Cavs are looking at this like "Hey we can do this without Kevin Love" or "Hey we can do this without Kevin Love, why keep him"?

Doubt it. Put prime MJ on this Cavs team and they wouldve lost to Chicago in 5.

They probably want to keep him. Would be the best trade chip in the NBA of he opts in.

LeBron is a full-sized intimidating power forward and should be compared to big lumbering beasts like Karl Malone, not Jordan. LeBron is 10 times the player Malone was. Jordan couldn't just muscle up down low and stomp through ants like Lebron can. His skinny height forced a smart, delicate, precise game.

At least LeBron finally put to rest the "he only plays for three quarters" legend!

Well in OT the Cavs looked more like the Knicks with Shumpert, JR Smith and Lechoke fading into the sunset when it counts

Remember 1990? Blazers in the Finals for the first time in forever?

Go Blazers signs in stores. People everywhere wearing Blazers gear. Blazers pennants and ribbons on cars. Full page ads in newspapers from local businesses saying Go Blazers. Everyone talking Blazers basketball. Front page of the news section every day.

    Has it been 25 years?

It's what I'm seeing now in Oakland. And damn, I so want to see that in Portland again.

(Yes, I know the Blazers were back in the Finals in 1992 so it's actually been 23 years, but I'm talking about that first return to championship round when everyone fell in love, at least temporarily.)

Not sure why. Lebron scored the bulk of his 44 against Barnes mediocre defense.

He was just trying to keep the pressure off himself and his teammates.

Kyrie out for the finals (3-4 months) with fractured knee cap. Wow, there goes any chance the Cavs had.

I'd like to see LeBron just go crazy Michael Jordan level takeover right now. The story is there to be written. I just want him to overtake Kobe in the GOAT lists tbh

That's a shame. Golden State will literally be the last team left standing
