How is that any of the warriors fault? That doesn't make them less of a team because of the other teams not doing what they needed to do to meet them.

..I'd like nothing less than to see Kevin Love get a ring for sitting on the bench or Lebron getting another one for coming back after the "decision"

The best part of watching this series is watching Bogut and Mosgov. I thought Mosgov was pretty good playing with Denver then he fell out of favor. Bogut is the guy though, the way he plays defense and positions for the boards.

Go Cavs! They were a laughing-stock in the 70s.

Bill Fitch, one of my favorite coaches, would tell the story shaking his head: He had a bunch of young players. One of his players dribbled the wrong direction. Fitch was yelling the whole way, "No! Go the other way!" But the Cav made the layup for the other team.

Fitch, a tough teaching-type coach, was a sarcastic SOB and was disliked by his players in Cleveland, Boston, and Houston. But they knew the fundamentals after he put them through the wringer. He made Bird, Olajuwon, and others great.

    Go Cavs! Jim Chones!

Led all players with +22 (in 22 minutes). Ex-Blazer represents!

(Meanwhile Thompson was -21, putting a kink in his drive for a huge contract. The importance of stretch 4s? Which makes you think how important Love might've been.)

Just like I said last year, these games are showing exactly how far we are from competing at this level. The intensity in these first two games-- we aren't close to yet. We need some shakeups. And luck with injuries to take these next few steps.

The intensity level is not there, that is for sure. This team is too much like Nic, and not enough like...well, not sure who actually. Wesley is probably the closest the team has to someone who goes all out.

however, I've noticed that the intensity level expected to reach the finals, isn't actually as high as we think. I think we've been brainwashed into thinking it's 100% effort 100% of the time. It's not. Case in point, there have been stretches of the game where the Cavs AND Warriors have both phoned it in during games 1 and 2.

That cavs are just too outgunned without Irving and Love, but how close these two games were, has to make you think they'd be up 2-0 right now if they had all their guys.

Well, so do I ... but with a slightly different meaning...

    PS
It was a good game. Both teams played hard.

Also what I think of every time I watch the intensity of these guys, especially the Cavs, two of their top three missing but guys step up. I think of Blake as a pretty intense guy but he just doesn't have the athleticism and youthful drive of Delladova. Mozgov and Thompson fighting for rebounds everytime, didn't see it from the Blazers.

I don't know that that's true - he certainly shows it, but you also need silent assassins like Lillard.

HOWEVER: LeBron has openly recruited Wesley, which doesn't surprise me. Wesley would be absolutely feasting on LBJ assists. Replace Shumpert or Smith with Wesley and the Cavs might have a chance.
