Hell, just by waiting three years we got a Rich Man's Spencer Hawes this year... Poor Man's Klay Thompson isn't impossible.

We already have a poor mans klay Thompson in Wes. CJ is basically going to be a poor mans Jason terry.

I see no reason why CJ can't become Jason Terry esque.

Meanwhile, Splash Bros >>>> Rain Broz, absolutely unreal performance by Klay

Confidence is huge. Jason terry in his prime was a gutsy player, CJ lacks that win at all cost mentality when he plays.

THIS. Very well said, and I totally agree. If he had that killer instinct on offense like Dame (and even Wes has) he would probably be a perfect 6th man for us. But so far we haven't seen that from him. He did have those couple games where he had what, like almost 20 points? Maybe he'll get some PT with these injuries and get his confidence back.

I just rewatched the 3rd quarter with Klay Thompson.

It was like watching a video that someone edited to show only the makes. It was crazy.

And with 3 minutes left, he "only" had 18 in the quarter. Something to behold, for sure. I mean, he hit EVERYTHING. He got fouled with like 10 seconds left and he was in Lillard range at the 3... the bucket didn't count, but he hit that too. lol.

Sad. Brandon Jennings got hurt. He looked really in pain. Hurts the Pistons.

Elijah Millsap has reached an agreement to sign a three-year contract with the Utah Jazz, his agent Daniel Hazan told RealGM.

Millsap’s deal will be guaranteed for the remainder of the season and holds two years of team options for the Jazz.

In nine games over two 10-day contracts with the Jazz, Millsap has averaged 5.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and one steal in 20.6 minutes per appearance, providing an energetic force on the wing. He is the younger brother of NBA All-Star Paul Millsap.

Millsap started the season with the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA D-League, averaging 20.1 points and earning a call up.

Out of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Millsap has spent three separate NBA training camps with the Oklahoma City Thunder (2010), Los Angeles Lakers (2011) and Milwaukee Bucks (2014). He has spent most of his professional career pushing for a permanent call up in the D-League.

Should be the last 82 game season in the NBA. Probably will be.

iirc the players association was pushing hard for it before the season. If it doesn't happen before contract is up then I bet there will be another lockout until the schedule length is addressed.

Wow. Hawks are 7 games ahead of the 2 seed in the East. 12 games ahead of Cleveland. Who saw that coming?

Wow. I don't know. It hurts stats and records though. No one can break the Bulls 72-10 season if the season is shortened, etc. Hurts Durant and LeBron's chances of passing Kareem in scoring, etc. I think the extended All Star break is good enough.

Also, less games means less money for owners means less money for players.

72 game season would be perfect: play each non-conference team twice, and play each in-conference team three times.
