    maybe, maybe not

but again, all the Pistons got was that 2025 first and a TPE. They didn't get any talent. There won't be any 30M TPE traded for Grant. For instance, besides draft picks, the Lakers would have had to also send talent like Russell, Hachimura, Vanderbilt. That would make them less likely to send out good draft consideraytion

A 2025 first is worth quite a bit these days

I just don't think you are giving him enough credit. he is a good defensive player that guards 1-5. He can score from anywhere on the court and can create his own shot. He also is wiling to play behind another player as a second or third option. Last his contract has greatly improved after this new TV contract and he is locked into it.
IMO someone will need what he brings. There will be a team that is going to make the playoffs but needs something or a team will be dealing with an injury and he is the perfect insurance policy.

That was kind of my point when I posted my original post on this. He's a solid player that can stick around a couple years on a decent contract that is getting better by the day.

    ok...I take it all back

I'm sure Grant will be traded soon because several teams will be willing to pay Cronin's price. After all, so far this off-season there hasn't been any movement or transactions yet involving wings...you know, other than Alec Burks, Josh Green, Buddy Heild, Kyle Anderson, Klay Thompson, Mikal Bridges, Bojan Bogdanovich, Dejonte Murray, Larry Nance, Dyson Daniels, Avdija, Tim Hardaway Jr., Naji Marshall, Demar DeRozan, Caleb Martin, Royce O'Neal, KCP, Kelly Oubre, Harrison Barnes, Chris Duarte, Tobias Harris, Taurean Prince, Derrick Jones, Nic Batum, Paul Reed, Mailk Beasely.

the market is wide open obviously

sorry kjiro...I had a sugar rush of smart ass

Pistons had an agreement they would send Grant to team of his choice in a trade. That was the Blazers because of Dame. Grant was never shopped for value.

Woah calm down there... I said it's crazy not bad so no need to insult me or call names. I was just surprised the NBA had some big middle east sponsor. Yeah Saudi fund invests in everything and more recently sports - see PGA golf.
Emirates is actually a great airline way better than any of the US ones although I suppose Delta is ok.

I just hadn't seen any middle east involved with the NBA. I never said it would be bad if Saudi invested in an NBA team, hell I think Id gladly prefer just about any of them over our current Blazers owner.

If the AS game ever has a vote for Ball boy and King James wants all his fans to write in his son's name then HE might be an All Star that way but nothing I have seen yet makes me think this will ever happen of him being a AS player - period

the voting for All-Stars gets WEIRD. The gazillion LeBron fans will automatically click Bronny too. The only way to prevent Bronny from stealing an All-Star spot from more deserving players is keeping him off the ballot.

Fan vote is only 50% of the overall All Star vote. Only way Bronny makes it is if players and media vote for him too.

All-Star weekend is supposed to be a much needed week off for NBA players. I could see players voting for Bronny, just to prove a point. There's vets that need to rest their bones. Let the kids run around and do All-Star stuff, while we watch the tube and sleep on the sofa.

If he makes the all star team this coming season, it won't be because he earned it.

It will probably make SNL if Bronny makes the all star team this coming season.

He can pair up with vaunted Blazer sophomore Reath. Perhaps Minaya as well.
