Well good point... but still have to wait for a driver and traffic and crowds to go anywhere. In OKC I could drive my own Ferrari whenever and wherever I want.

Having $100 million (before tax/retirement/etc) isn't even a ton of money in NYC. Many thousands of people would have more. I mean of course its still a very nice - but it wouldn't' be extravagant lifestyle as in OKC. Plus have to pay a ton of city/state taxes. I'd say restaurants would be the #1 NYC advantage though.

Hard to imagine NY giving up both. It's hard for me to see them giving up 1 of them. I would think something closer to a swap, 24 for 34 or 40.
Also, I doubt they want their C rotation to be 2 oft injured guys in Robinson and RWIII

Hey, just so long as they stagger their injuries...
I'm not giving up ANY second rounders- that's where all the fun players are! How about we swap #14 for ALL their picks? 24, 25 and 38?

The picks would need to go from Portland to NY.

I don't understand why so many Blazer fans think an injured Timelord is going to be in demand.

If he comes back and plays for the Blazers, performing great up to the trade deadline maybe his value goes up. Until then - there isn't a team in the league giving up assets for him.

Can we make it a three way where we re-locate Anfernee and get picks?

Having lived in NY and not loved it enough to stay there, and having been to OKC and enjoying it more than I expected, I still think you are out of your mind if you choose OKC over NYC. If you have $100m your apartment is not going to be dinky and NYC is a lovely lovely place to live in if you can afford it. Night life, culture, people to meet, access to other places, food - it's just so much nicer. Also, while it can get cold there, it is not OKC cold in the winter and that's a good thing.

Like every place in the world, there are pros and cons - and while there are many places I would choose in the world over NYC, OKC is not one of them, as much nicer as I found it compared to my expectations were.

Right now, Chicago's goal is to make it to the playoffs. RS is what matters at the moment

LA, GS, Miami all have great weather in the winter and tons of great areas to live so I'd rank those at the top. I enjoy NYC for trips but would hate living there no matter how much I made. Yeah maybe some people are different, but its not like we've seen NY pull in great free agents the last few decades.

Not that different from the Clippers in the Sterling days. Sometimes it's more than the location...

As somebody who has spent a bunch of time there, there is NO such lifestyle located there. And the only place you'd want to drive a Ferrari in OKC would be OUT!

Very curious indeed. Based on his minutes last year, Blazer fans seem to like him more than the Jazz coaches.
